I stayed here in room 310 for 3 nights. My room was on the 3rd floor. There’s an elevator or you can take the stairs, although they are quite steep. I had booked a 4 bed dorm. Ironically, it was located inside the larger dorm. The room was tiny, just large enough for the floor bunks. It was surprisingly well ventilated and never felt stuffy. The bunk had a private light, 2 electrical sockets and a privacy curtain. Lockers were under the bottom bunk and large enough to hold a medium sized backpack. The mattress was too soft and virtually sank into the board underneath. This is far firmer than anything I’ve experienced in my 2 weeks of travel in Taiwan. So pretty firm.and below average comfort. The toilets and bathrooms were on the same floor. Unusually for toilets in East Asia, the toilets had no geyser and you’re supposed to dump tissue into the wastebasket. So … awkward. Otherwise the bathroom and toilets were always clean. Liquid soap and shampoo were supplied in the showers. There's even 3 hairdryers on the 3rd floor. Not that there was ever a fight to say hair. Overall, I had a very good stay. The reception hours are short compared to most places, although I was able to just drop-off the keys and put my bag in luggage storage myself. The location is excellent. It's a 5 minutes walk to Ximen Metro station, Ximending Walking Street and many bus stops.
