CHYUAN DU SPRING RESORT
4.4/5118 Reviews
Beitou Hot Spring Area
The equipment is old but the overall feeling is very good. The location is very good, 3-5 minutes walk from the MRT station. There are stores such as Carrefour and McDonald's next door. The room is old but very clean, and the breakfast is rich. I’ll come back if I have the chance.
Beitou Resort Metro Inn
4.4/5147 Reviews
Spacious apartment-like Executive Suite. Free snacks and water in room. Breakfast is very simple. Adjacent sports complex offers self-pay billiards, table tennis, badminton, swimming, and basketball. Need to bring own swimming cap. One adjacent restaurant which offers lunch and dinner. Cross bridge to Metro station which is about a 7-8 minute walk. Seems like a staycation get-away or function/event hotel for locals as there is not much to see around the area.
The Tango Hotel Taipei Shilin
4.3/5200 Reviews
Shilin Night Market
The location of the hotel is great, directly across from the Jiantan MRT station and also a 5 minutes walk from Shilin Night Market. The amenities in the hotel room was nice and thoughtful. Refreshments are provided in the hotel lobby. Unfortunately, the wifi in the hotel was subpar. The room was modern and having a balcony was a plus. However the rooms are smaller than the The Tango Jiantan (which is right next door) and about half the size of The Tango Xinyi, which had little space for 2 people to share and made it a bit difficult to unpack large suitcases. It would be nice if there are a bit more drawers or space to put items. Overall would stay again for the location but would recommend the Jiantan branch instead for more spacious rooms.
Dandy Hotel - Tianmu Branch
4.5/5123 Reviews
Tienmu Commercial Area
The location of the hotel is quiet and convenient for going out. What is very satisfying is the attitude of the staff, who are all very good. Personally, I like the breakfast provided by the hotel. Whether it is porridge, rice, soup, salad, bread, etc., they are all very good. There are also drinks available 24 hours a day. It’s really nice to be able to drink ice lemonade at any time in the summer. Thumbs up!
Citizen Hotel

Yongkang Market Place
Star Hotel, Taipei One of my favorite points is its location. It's in the city center, Taipei 101 is just four blocks away, you can see it from our hotel room. Almost next door is a very interesting morning market, a few blocks away on the main road, is a very lively commercial shopping street. The hotel is small and the room size is moderate. There is no problem with the two of us plus a large suitcase. We were on tour so actually booked this hotel twice in a week. The first time we stayed on the third floor and received free Wi-Fi signal, but the second time we were on the seventh floor, we couldn't receive a signal at all. There were hot water bottles, tea and instant coffee in the room. The bathroom is small but functional, the water pressure is sufficient and there is a modern ”shower toilet” (to clean... well... buttocks). The hotel staff knows limited English, but they are very good and willing to help as much as they can. They let us check out later so we didn't have to wander outside (very hot) until our plane left. The place for breakfast was in the restaurant next to them, on the first floor. Breakfast included toast, very delicious fried rice, and some green vegetables. There are also juices, tea and coffee.
Pacific Business Hotel
4.4/586 Reviews
World Trade Center Exhibition Center
The location, the view, the service attitude are all first class. But if you like the new facilities and renovations, I'm afraid that's not enough for you, because I can feel the traces of time in the rooms and bathrooms. Overall, it's very good.
