| Towada City, Yachi Onsen, one of Japan's three secret hot springs. Yachi Onsen is a very secretive Japanese-style hot spring inn with a history of more than 400 years. It is located deep in Mt. Hakkoda in Aomori Prefecture and is known as one of Japan's three secret hot springs. The hot spring's bath and other facilities are all made of wood, and it is a well-preserved Japanese traditional "Japanese-style hot spring." The spring is a simple sulfur spring (low hypotonic weak acid spring) and is a foot self-spraying source spring. There is no open-air hot spring, but there is a mixed-gender bath, which is divided into the 42-degree milky white "Upper Spring White Turbid Spring" and the 38-degree "Lower Spring Spirit Spring." The room does not have a separate bathroom, and since it is an old wooden building, there may be noise, but it is fine. I slept very comfortably. Breakfast and dinner are made with local ingredients, and the grilled rockfish for dinner is very tender and delicious.
