Apollo Bay: A Midway Stop on the Great Ocean Road Trip

Watching the sunrise at Apollo Bay is an unforgettable memory. During a road trip from Adelaide to the Twelve Apostles, we stayed overnight at the Beachfront Motel. At six in the morning, we woke up early and took a long walk along the coastline to greet the first rays of the day. The sea breeze gently brushed against us, and the air was filled with the fresh scent of the ocean. At sunrise, the sky gradually changed from deep blue to orange-red, and the sun slowly rose from the horizon, casting a golden glow. To capture the perfect mirror reflection photo, we bent down close to the wet beach surface, trying to catch the moment when the sun was reflected in the water. In that instant, the world in the lens seemed to freeze, with the sky and sea merging into one, creating a dreamlike scene. Visitors to the Great Ocean Road or the Twelve Apostles should consider stopping by for a visit.
