Beihai Mangrove Ecotourism Area

Beihai is a great place to escape the cold. The weather is nice and warm. I went to the most convenient attraction, Golden Bay Mangrove Ecotourism Area, and spent more than 3 hours there. There is a large wetland and mudflat, and the main activity is sea hunting. The scenic area is well managed and more fun than Silver Beach. However, the ticket (including the bus ticket) is a bit expensive. I recommend buying a group ticket online. Although people over 65 can enter for free, they still need to buy a CNY 25 sightseeing bus ticket. The round trip is 10 li (5 km), so it is a bit tiring to walk. The sightseeing bus stops at several points, and you can get on and off freely. You can get off at the first stop and walk along the boardwalk to the depths of the wetland. There are science popularization introductions along the way. At the last stop, there is free sea hunting and performances promoting Tanka customs and culture.
