I found a Song-style private hot spring hidden in downtown Beijing! Winter is the best season for private hot springs, and I found another hidden gem! You don't have to drive far to the suburbs, you can enjoy a private hot spring with a secluded mountain feel in Haidian. 📍Beijing Nanshan Misty Rain Song Hot Spring Resort I stayed in the Biezhi Que room, a loft with a private outdoor hot spring courtyard. The room is 80 square meters and has a simple yet detailed decor. I love the tatami tea table by the window, and you can even pull down the screen to watch a movie at night. The outdoor hot spring is beautifully decorated and perfect for photos! (Floating afternoon tea is available for CNY 199/set) There is also a small tea table for brewing tea (CNY 199/set). These two add-ons are not very cost-effective, so you can choose them as needed. The room is surprisingly a one-bedroom duplex with two bathrooms and showers, which is perfect for lazy people like me! The room is fully smart-controlled, with a bed facing the floor-to-ceiling windows. There is also a small balcony on the second floor. It's a pity that the leaves are all gone now, otherwise the view would be great. Breakfast is served in the B&B's own restaurant, which is also beautifully decorated. There are not many options, but it's enough. The B&B also offers dinner, including hot pot and some simple meals. I had lunch at a restaurant and ordered takeout for dinner. I recommend "Three Brothers Roast Pigeon"! The skewers are delicious, and I love the drunken crab claws. The craft beer is also very good, perfect for watching TV shows! The butler will contact you the day before check-in and add you to a group chat. You can ask them to fill the hot spring or pick up your takeout in the group chat, and they will reply immediately. The only downside is that the hot spring can only be used twice on the night of check-in. The staff will swipe the card to fill the hot spring, so there is a time limit. It's best to soak in the hot spring immediately after it's filled. I was late, and the hot spring couldn't be filled with hot water, so it felt a bit cold. Also, check-in is at 3 pm, and check-out is at 12 pm. If you only stay for one night, the time may be a bit tight. However, in terms of room size, environment, and service, it is still a cost-effective private hot spring B&B, worth the price. It's also easier to book than Yipiao, and you can usually book a room a week in advance. I highly recommend you to experience it!
