Beijing during winter is it worth it?

So is it worth it to travel to Beijing during winter? The answer is as always, it depends. If you love to avoiding crowds and enjoy the magnificent parks, palaces and Hutong streets and feel the real vibe of the city I would say is definetly worth it. Although without some disclaimer. Winter is Beijing is cold, windy and dry. Some of the parks during winter are not worth spending too much time like Yuanmingyuan, specially the one that their charm is their vegetation.
