Read the signboard written that the old road was discovered during the construction of the new road. In order to preserve the history, the government decided to leave it as it is and cover in acrylic, and putting up model that shows how the existence of it.

This is the Dafo temple, located in the middle of a pedestrian street in Guang Zhou! It is not to be missed at all! Very grand vibes all around, with intricate designs and adorned with gold Buddhas. At night, it is even more beautiful when lit up. It looks like a scene from Spirited Away! Come here to soak up the religious atmosphere and come wish for some good luck!

Nice place to come for a night walk, cheap street food, specially bbq oysters are delicious and amazingly cheap, there are also some temples hidden in the side streets and monument related to ancient Guangzhou city, not as crowded as some people say, lots of places to buy souvenirs, every shop is trying to be unique so the entrances are quite fun to explore (e.g.misty cave) they don’t try to sell things in an aggressive way so don’t worry to just enter and have a look
