Half-day tour of Gifu Castle in Gifu Prefecture｜Squirrel House, Kinka Cable Car, Gourmet Lunch

You can spend half a day wandering around Gifu Castle. Driving from a distance, I saw Gifu Castle sitting on the top of the mountain. Here you need to take a mountain cable car up the mountain and enjoy a panoramic view of the city. The road leading to Gifu Castle is uphill. It was a bit hard for me who doesn’t often climb mountains. But the hard work is worth it once you reach the mountain. After visiting Gifu Castle, it was almost noon. There is only one restaurant here, I looked at the menu and thought it was good, so I ate on the mountain. The view is very good, with large glass windows. It is really pleasant to eat the Hida beef set meal while overlooking the beautiful scenery below the mountain. After eating, I was ready to leave. When you see the squirrel garden, you should not miss it if you are already here. The park is not big but you can interact with and feed the squirrels. It was quite surprising and a very interesting interaction. Finally, take the cable car back to the parking lot. There is a big park next to it. Just take a walk around... It’s worth setting aside time to visit here.
