A sacred place for finding your roots and worshiping your ancestors: For many descendants of immigrants, Hongtong Dahuaishu is where their roots are, and it has become a "sacred place" for hundreds of millions of descendants of ancient locust trees at home and abroad to find their roots and worship their ancestors. Every year, a large number of people come to find their roots and worship their ancestors, and hold sacrificial activities, which not only strengthens the cohesion of families and ethnic groups, but also promotes cultural inheritance and exchange. Immigrants brought Shanxi's culture, customs, language, etc. to their new places of residence, while also absorbing local cultural elements, forming a rich and colorful cultural landscape. For example, some local dialects still retain the characteristics of the Shanxi dialect, and some customs are similar to Shanxi's traditional customs. Scenic area overview: Hongtong Dahuaishu Root-seeking and Ancestor-worshiping Park is a national 5A-level tourist attraction, with a total area of about 3.5 square kilometers. The scenic area is composed of five characteristic theme sections: "Immigration Relics Area," "Ancestor Worship Area," "Folk Tour Area," "Fenhe Ecological Area," and "Root and Ancestor Culture Square," with more than 60 scenic and cultural attractions, including the root carving gate, stele pavilion, root character shadow wall, thousand-year-old locust root, ancestor worship hall, second and third generation locust trees, and Guangji Temple. There are also many live performances in the scenic area, such as "Iron Pot Story," "Dahuaishu Immigration," and "Su San Passing by Dahuaishu."
