Taronga Zoo boasts an unbeatable seascape, overlooking the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. The zoo here is an open-style zoo, where you can get up close and personal with the animals. The day we went, we even witnessed emus leisurely crossing the road right in front of us. The surrounding shops are also an unexpected highlight. The quality of the merchandise sold here is surprisingly good.
