Sleeping Among the Animals: An Unforgettable Stay at Taronga Zoo’s Wildlife Retreat

My stay at the Wildlife Retreat at Taronga was absolutely unforgettable! We booked an Animal View room, and it was surreal to see a koala right outside our window, casually walking around on the ground just a few feet away. Being so close to the wildlife in their natural behaviors was a truly unique experience. We also had the chance to explore the zoo after hours, taking a guided walk as the sun set and witnessing the zoo’s nighttime activities when the lights went out. It was fascinating to see how different the zoo is after dark! In the morning, we enjoyed a delicious buffet breakfast at the on-site restaurant, which offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The food was fantastic, and the service was top-notch, making the experience even more special.
