｜Hotel Merlin Prague Experience

During my recent trip to Prague, I stayed at Hotel Merlin, located at Otakarova 287/3. The location is incredibly convenient, with a tram stop right in front of the hotel and just 600 meters from Prague-Sovans Train Station. There are also many interesting places nearby, such as Baretta and Na Fidlovacce Theatre, which are very close. The hotel is also very close to Vysehrad, making it a great location. Even if you take a taxi back to the hotel at night, it saves time. The hotel's architecture retains an old-fashioned style, but the interior is modern. The receptionist was very enthusiastic, providing us with many travel suggestions and directions, making us feel very welcome. Although the hotel as a whole seems a bit old, the rooms are well-maintained, although the carpet needs updating. The rooms are well-equipped, with an LCD TV and wardrobe, making it very cozy. The room I stayed in was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom offers 24-hour hot water and a hairdryer, which is very thoughtful. However, there is no air conditioning in the room, which may be a bit hot in summer. The breakfast is quite good, with a variety of options, including coffee, available every day. Overall, the basic facilities provided meet the needs. The tram stop is right in front of the hotel, making it very convenient to get to the Old Town, taking less than 20 minutes, which is perfect for those who love shopping. In addition to the hotel itself, some nearby restaurants are also worth trying. For example, Les Moules' white wine mussels, K The Two Brothers' Malai Chicken, and Mlynec's grilled salmon are all popular choices. Those who want to try something different can give them a try👌. However, there are some downsides to this hotel. For example, it can be a bit noisy when the tram passes by, especially at night. The bathroom facilities are a bit old, with unstable water pressure during showers, and some rooms have a slight odor. As for parking spaces, there are not many free ones, so it is recommended to plan ahead. Overall, Hotel Merlin is an affordable option in Prague. Although the facilities are slightly outdated, the service is warm and attentive, and the transportation is convenient, making it suitable for those on a budget who want to experience convenient travel. If I visit Prague again, I might consider staying here again, as the location is really great, and the price is relatively affordable.
