Come to Qingdao to see Ali's 'Homecoming' special exhibition

Seeing Ali's image, everyone will immediately think of that naughty and cute emoji. But Ali originally comes from a picture book, which is a picture book image created by Qingdao-based picture book author Hans. Ali's initial inspiration and image conception were born in Qingdao. Qingdao is Ali's hometown, and the large number of architectural styles blending Chinese and Western elements in Hans' works are also deeply influenced by Qingdao's local urban architectural culture. The theme of this exhibition, 'Homecoming', sets Ali's story 15 years later. After countless adventures, Ali and Peach were sent back to their birthplace - Qingdao by a hot air balloon during a travel accident. This is where Ali was born. Everything is still there, Ali thought, on this winter snow night, in his hometown, he smelled the scent of his mother, the sea, and spring. This exhibition, two Qingdao characteristic historical buildings have been transformed into Ali's home. The combination of Chinese and Western architectural styles and the atmosphere of years of precipitation add a sense of reality to Ali's picture book world without filters. Located at No. 39 Huangdao Road, it is full of Ali's childhood innocence, youth adventures, and those memories in the clouds. No. 33 courtyard, carries Ali's love, friendship, and dreams, like seeds planted in Ali's heart, growing in the recurring spring. Here, he walked into the dream castle of his childhood. Mom is preparing New Year's dinner in the kitchen; Big Bear and Mika and other little friends have held a lively and warm New Year's party, and the bedroom is still filled with the warm smell of childhood. In the mailbox in the courtyard, he opened letters that had never been opened, and those words full of love, friendship, and dreams were hidden between the lines. He saw his childhood self diving with the chicks, riding an adventure balloon with Peach, and diving into a grand rose bush. Ali opened a cloud gallery, he decided to stay, take out the beautiful memories hidden in the clouds, and share them with everyone, sharing warmth, healing, and the small beauties of life. Ali found that everything has not changed, whether it is his own memories hidden in the clouds, or those dream seeds buried in his heart. He felt a sense of satisfaction and warmth that he had never had before. So this is the wonderful feeling of home, going home, as if returning to the place where the dream began.
