Lived in Shandong for more than 20 years and stayed at the most perfect hotel! I saw online that people were quite critical of the MGM in Qingdao, but after staying there, I felt the experience was really above expectations. First of all, in terms of investment, there was absolutely no skimping. Whether it's the building itself or the hard furnishings, you can see the real gold and silver investment. Although MGM and Diaoyutai are in the same building, the styles are very distinct. Diaoyutai has an independent small door, giving a mysterious, dignified, and private feel; the golden lion at the MGM entrance is young, flamboyant, and unique, meeting the needs of different groups of people. I actually pay a lot of attention to the design of the room when staying in high-end hotels, and this MGM quite fits my preferences. At first glance, it reminded me of the Waldorf in Xiamen. The bedroom area has a soft and exquisite atmosphere, and the bathroom is decorated with marble. I have to say, compared to the Waldorf's marble, the joints here seem a bit messy and dirty. The washbasin area might be the biggest flaw, as the green curtain wall really doesn't look high-end.
