Time Travel: The Secret Garden of Changdeokgung Palace

At Changdeokgung Palace in Seoul, I felt as if I had traveled back to the Joseon Dynasty. Although this palace is not as grand and magnificent as Gyeongbokgung Palace, its tranquility and subtlety are even more charming. Especially the rear garden—the Secret Garden, which seems to be hiding countless stories. Wandering through it, the lush ponds, winding paths, and ancient buildings create a serene picture. The guided tour explained that this place was once a spot for royal family members to relax and has witnessed historical changes. Walking on this historic land, I felt not only the beauty of the architecture but also the deep traces of the era. Changdeokgung Palace gave me a deeper understanding and reverence for ancient Korean culture, and it makes one want to return to this forgotten historical corner again.
