Exhibition period: July 12, 2024–November 24, 2024 The "Gabrielle Chanel. Fashion Manifesto" exhibition is the first retrospective of fashion designer Gabrielle Chanel's work in China, exclusively supported by the Chanel brand. The exhibition is organized chronologically and thematically, and consists of two main chapters, showcasing Chanel's creations from the 1910s to the 1930s, and her work after returning to the fashion world from 1954 to 1971. If you're interested in Chanel, you can visit the second floor of the Power Station of Art in Shanghai. The exhibition hall is decorated in very dark tones to highlight the "mystery," which is a bit too "dark" for me. But the floor is all fluffy, which is nice.
