Shaoshan village - famous red tourism spot

I mostly prefer natural beauty but at some point anything can be "too much" 🤭 So while my friend opted for Sichuan I decided to go to Changsha to avoid high risk areas - covid map was my main guide this summer 🙄 When I started learning about Changsha main tourist attractions, I found out that most of them relate to communist party, so I just grabbed the chance, as for me that was something new and special (in China) . From logistics and cost point of view I decided to join a Chinese tour (hoping my Chinese improved since last year🤞.. Not so much😔 but anyway it's possible with any Chinese level, depending on your other skills, experience and target) As for my tour most of the time we spent in the house and museum of Liu Shaoqi (impressive) as it was similar to Mao Zedong's but less crowded. Afternoon we went to Mao Zedong's house and then to memorial park. The trip was exactly what I needed: good timing and logistics, all information in the museums was provided both in Chinese and English and I learnt a lot on the internet on the way, too. In the evening I also went to an open air performance which was good. I stayed overnight and had a nice hike over rural area in the morning. Another 2 great days in Hunan!
