🌈Attraction features: The Tiangong Buddha in Keyan Scenic Area is one of the four great stone Buddhas in Zhejiang. It was carved in the Sui Dynasty and completed in the early Tang Dynasty, taking three generations of stonemasons to complete. The long and arduous construction process reflects the superb skills and tenacious spirit of ancient craftsmen. Unlike many semi-circular and relief stone Buddhas in China, the Tiangong Buddha is a round sculpture, with the back of the Buddha not connected to the niche. This carving method gives the Buddha a more three-dimensional and realistic feel, with high artistic value. The pool around the stone Buddha was formed by waste stones left over from ancient quarrying, buried for hundreds of years, and later rediscovered through development. The pool not only adds a sense of tranquility and mystery to the Buddha, but also becomes a major feature of the scenic area. It is also a release pool, with many koi fish. 🕐️Opening hours: Currently, the scenic area is open from 07:30 to 16:30 (last entry at 16:00). 🏝️Recommended route: Keyan - Jianhu - Luzhen. Enter from Keyan Scenic Area to admire the various stone caves, stone holes, stone pools, stone walls, and other wonders, and experience the grandeur of ancient quarries. First, visit the "Tiangong Buddha," a majestic Buddha carved in the Sui Dynasty, a highlight of the scenic area; then head to Puzhao Temple to experience the grandeur of Tang-style architecture and the strong religious atmosphere; then visit attractions such as Jing Shui Wan and Yuezhong Celebrity Garden to learn about the cultural heritage of Shaoxing. Then head to Jianhu, where you can choose to take a boat tour to enjoy the lake and mountain scenery and experience the water culture and bridge culture of Shaoxing. 💗Other tips: There is also an echo wall in the scenic area where you can stand in the center and try it out.
