For this sunset reflection, I drove 100 km to Suzhou.

My primary school child is on holiday, so we went to Suzhou for a family vacation. We found a homestay with white buildings floating on the water. The vast wetland is its natural garden. The water ripples and the reeds sway gently. In the evening, we watched the sunset fall into the wetland. The infinity pool reflected the afterglow of the sunset. I sighed that this is a fairyland on earth.   📍 Villa Home Tongli Shehuayitian Healing Homestay 🚘 Location: North Gate of Tongli National Wetland Park, Tongli Town, 1.5 hours' drive from downtown Shanghai 🏨 The homestay has 4 buildings suspended above the water, surrounded by a 360° lake view. We booked a duplex lake view room. The balcony overlooks the lake and wetland. Sitting on the balcony and having afternoon tea with my family is so enjoyable. The room has air conditioning and floor heating, so it is not cold in winter.   🌳 Located in Tongli National Wetland Park, the homestay has a unique environment. 🚂 Hiking in the forest or taking a small train around the wetland park are different vacation experiences.   🌄 On a fine evening, don't miss the stunning sunset at the infinity pool of the homestay. I am willing to drive here many times for this sunset reflection!   🍴 The restaurant offers authentic Jiangnan cuisine. The Suzhou-style braised pork with dried bamboo shoots is a must-try. It is so delicious! 👉 By the way, the homestay also offers unique sound bowl healing, which lasts about 1 hour. In a quiet space, you can hear the sound of the bowl being struck, which is very relaxing.
