"Mountains and Rivers of Tonglu"

| Tonglu. Memories of my trip to Tonglu last October! I went during the dry season, so the river was almost dry. I couldn't sit on the stone steps and roll up my pants to play in the water, but the scenery was still beautiful! Green mountains, clear water, stone steps, ancient paths, and streams. It's a great place to relax and get close to nature! Shishe Village is actually very small, but it has its own characteristics. The Maling Ancient Path is quite long, and you can walk through a large bamboo forest. It's great for hiking and relaxing on the weekend. There are local residents selling jabuticaba in the village, which is rarely seen elsewhere. It tastes good, so you can try it! The local food is also delicious! I randomly found a small restaurant in the village, and it turned out to be surprisingly delicious! Daqishan National Forest Park is a lot of fun! The water is very green, reflecting the koi and white clouds. It feels like my eyes have been washed clean. Daqishan has many amusement facilities and is quite large. There are bamboo forests and small waterfalls, making it a great place for hiking and bringing kids to play! I didn't have time to visit other places like Yanziling Fishing Platform and Fuchun Mountain, but I heard they are also beautiful. If you want to go, you may need to stay in Tonglu for two days. Reminder: Shishe Village is really small, and the only photogenic place is the stone steps at the entrance of the village. If you're not specifically coming to hike the ancient path, there's no need to make a special trip. When my friend and I came, we found it was only this big, which was a bit disappointing. But then we thought, although it's small, it's beautiful. Coming to the mountains to hike the ancient path and breathe fresh air is actually quite nice, especially since the mountains in Tonglu are connected to the water, stretching endlessly, and are very green. It's truly picturesque. Secondly, Tonglu doesn't have a subway, and the attractions are far apart. The buses are also infrequent (about every 30 minutes to Shishe Village), and taxis aren't cheap, so it's best to drive yourself for a weekend getaway. It will be more convenient and ideal.
