Grab a ticket to your desired location and skim over the train schedules. Find your departure time and arrive a little early. Toronto has a sustainable card-based ticket system. You can reload the card for regular use. TO > Ktch was a few hours ride. I was there by mid day. When I got off the train my friend was there to pick me up! Kitchener station isn’t big. This Monday, we decided to visit Toronto Centre Island, a tranquil and beautiful paradise. We avoided the weekend crowds. 🌟How to get to Centre Island? 1. Ferry 🚢 Depart from Jack Layton Ferry Terminal. Address: 9 Queens Quay W (See the last image for departure times) 2. Water Taxi 🚤 One-way adult fare: $12.5 cash/person, $14 card/person. Return trip can be taken for free by ferry. To catch the earliest ferry, we chose the one that was about to depart. After arriving at Hanlan’s Point, we began a walk of about 4 kilometers, eventually reaching Centre Island. The weather was very nice, and the scenery along the way was very healing❗️If you have your own bicycle 🚲, you can bring it to the island. Cycling on the island is also a great experience. ✨Along the lakeshore, we walked to Centre Island’s Bike Rental. We rented a tandem bicycle and rode to Ward’s Island for a tour, then returned to Centre Island to return the bike. The Bike Rental cycling fees are as follows: • Single bicycle: $10/person • Tandem bicycle (front and back seats): $20/person • Tandem bicycle (side-by-side seats): $21/person • Four-person bicycle: $39/person After cycling, we started to stroll around Centre Island. This five-story red brick building is not only a historic landmark of Toronto but also the progenitor of the 'Flatiron Buildings' around the world. Completed in 1892, it has a history of over a century, predating the construction of the world-famous Manhattan Flatiron Building in New York by 10 years. Moreover, the back of this building is creatively adorned with a whimsical mural that cleverly integrates the actual windows of the building into the painting. The flat art creates a 3D effect that is quite interesting. The exterior of the building can of course be visited for free, and you can take photos at will, just be mindful to avoid the passing vehicles. I have a Toronto Public Library Card and one of the benefits of having one is to be able to get a FREE PASS. So, I was able to get a FREE PASS from the library and went to the gallery on a Friday. I started going around at 2pm and tha gallery closes at 5pm. I only had 3 hours and I know that 3 hours is not enough to see so many paintings and art pieces. You can see a lot of Art on the 1st and 2nd floor. 3rd floor is only for special occasions or exhibitions. 4th and 5th floor for contemporary. I went to CN tower which located not far from Union station of Toronto. The admission fees costed around 50 CAD. After that, the elevator took us to the upper. We can see the city of Toronto, the Toronto Billshop Airport and Toronto island downstairs. The view was stunning. Moreover, if you want to be on top of the top, you need to pay extra 11 CAD to go to the highest point. That makes you will be the highest in Western Hemisphere.

Awesome dining experience at Swiss Chalet. My friends decided to have our Christmas dinner at this place after we had our Finals at Centennial College. The place had a nice view from outside and it really looks good inside. The place is not well lit or is not so bright to have that nice dining experience. I was checking the Holiday Fair at Nathan's Philip Square and was able to see the old city hall at downtown Toronto. The place is so nice to look at with the christmas set up and also the changing colors of the city hall. There were also lots of stalls prepared for christmas and people were able to go skating in the Nathan's Philip Square. It was Sunday, December 11 - my birthday. I decided to go downtown Toronto to celebrate my birthday and go to a church. I decided to check St. Michael's Cathedral because it said it is one of the must visit churches in Toronto. When I arrived I was impresses by the architecture from the outside and also when you get inside, the stained glasses are gorgeous! I was also very lucky because at 12 noon there was a mass. #tripblazers #urbanexplorer

I went to Canada for two weeks with my husband for our honeymoon! And let me tell you… worth it! We travelled all around Quebec and spent the last few days in Niagara. The weather was beautiful even if it was September which allowed us to do an elicopter flight to see the Falls from above 😻 would love to go back there and I suggest everyone to visit because it was really magical 🪄

We were having fun walking down CN Tower at downtown Toronto and we were so hungry and we had lunch at this amazing Italian Restaurant - Scaddabush. The staff are so so friendly and the girl who attended to is was so energetic and warm to us. We really enjoyed the appetizer (sliced tomatoes, avocado, bread and chees) so delicous. The carbonara was so so creamy. The pizza was also good. Try it out when you are downtown TO. #tripblazers #urbanexplorer
