Of ancient city and ceiling frescoes

During my visit to Vatican City, I joined a guided tour that took me through the tranquil beauty of the Vatican Gardens, a peaceful retreat that offers a different perspective on the grandeur of the area. The lush greenery and well-manicured pathways felt almost surreal in contrast to the historical and spiritual significance surrounding the entire place. One of the highlights was the Sistine Chapel. Since we were on a guided tour, we bypassed the long queues, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Stepping inside, I was instantly captivated by Michelangelo’s ceiling frescoes. Seeing The Creation of Adam in person was truly moving—the colors were more vivid, the figures more lifelike than I could have imagined. The ceiling, with its intricate details and powerful storytelling, felt like it was enveloping us.
