During our stay in Vila Nova de Gaia, we discovered an amazing Italian restaurant that satisfied our cravings for pizzas and pastas. Mamma Bella Cais de Gaia is a hidden gem located just a short walk from the Douro Riverfront. The beautifully decorated restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The pizzas and pastas we ordered were freshly prepared, and the cook was generous with the ingredients. Each main dish, which includes complimentary garlic bread, costs around 10 euros.
