A luxury hotel in the desert, the Moroccan-style Yuanbai Hotel

Yuanbai Hotel, Dawancun, Shapotou District, Zhongwei, Ningxia Yuanbai Hotel is the last hotel in the Yellow River Suji Hotel brand (other hotels include Xipo, Dalezhiyue, and Feiniaoji). It is located in the center of the Yellow River Suji Hotel. Although it does not have a view of the Yellow River, it is surrounded by a dense forest, which acts as a natural sound barrier and oxygen bar, making it one of the most beautiful views in the desert. Before the renovation, Yuanbai Hotel was three scattered adobe houses, standing alone and stubbornly at the entrance of the hotel. While retaining the flat roof and rammed earth facade of the Yellow River Suji Hotel, the interior design of Yuanbai Hotel is more natural and warm. The main color is extracted from the local red sandstone, the red handmade floor tiles, and the unicycle and granary collected from the local area are all marks of time and memory. The hotel is divided into three courtyards, one of which is a bookstore and tea space called Kongshan Jiutie, which is open to the public. The other two courtyards have 11 rooms. After the renovation, each courtyard has a distinctive public area. Guests can choose to stay according to their preferences, and they can also visit other courtyards to share the rich and diverse vacation experience. Unlike ordinary bookstores, Kongshan Jiutie is more like a hotel, bringing the best publishing institutions to the countryside. Kongshan Jiutie not only sells books, but also spreads culture. In the future, it will hold a large number of events with the institutions, such as new book launches, sharing sessions, and even small concerts.
