Hubei Zigui's Three Gorges Bamboo Sea

The Three Gorges Bamboo Sea, originally known as Sixi, is a niche, low-key yet serene and elegant scenic area. The Three Gorges Bamboo Sea is located in Yichang Zigui, an area more famous for the Three Gorges Dam and the hometown of Qu Yuan. Zigui is the county closest to the Three Gorges Dam; the old county town was submerged due to the construction of the reservoir, and the newly built county town after the relocation has an excellent view of the engineering project. To get to the Three Gorges Bamboo Sea from Yichang city area, one must pass through the Three Gorges Dam overpass expressway (which is a transportation road built along the right bank of the Yangtze River), accompanied by many large transport vehicles and passing through numerous tunnels along the way. Many visitors here plan to visit the hometown of Qu Yuan, the Three Gorges Dam, and the Three Gorges Bamboo Sea all in one day. Buddhist-style Touring The scenic area is not large; if you don't plan to climb mountains or experience various amusement projects, just walking and stopping, two hours is enough. The mountains on both sides are very high, a typical canyon landscape. Walking among them, looking up, you will immediately feel your own insignificance. It's past nine o'clock, only the mountain tops can see the slanting sunlight, the valley is extremely cool and not at all sun-drenched. From the moment you enter the scenic area, the valley concerto plays in your ears, the sound of the stream rushing against the rocks, the intermittent chirping of birds and insects. There's no need to understand what it is, nor to remember it, just listen, and your heart follows cheerfully. Walking to the innermost part of the scenic area, you reach the signature attraction here, the Fivefold Spring. Literally, there should be five cascading waterfalls, but I didn't climb the mountain, just looked up from the canyon, so I only saw two, it doesn't matter, the artistic conception is experienced, the other three are in the heart. Highlights and Pitfalls Close to the Fivefold Spring, there is a small pavilion by the roadside, very clean, with no one around. The valley concerto playing in the ears, this is the most comfortable part of the trip. If you have been in the bustling and noisy city for too long, you can come and see these otherworldly plays. When you walk into the Fivefold Spring, the waterfall's water is shy like a curtain of pearls. Turning around, the waterfall suddenly surges, instantly turning into a roaring torrent. The clear sky and the steady and abundant water flow should mean there is a reservoir above that can probably control the flow. It's time, they started to release water. There are quite a few chargeable projects in the scenic area, and it is said that people who climb the mountain and don't want to walk back mostly 'voluntarily' choose to spend money.
