Grand Mercure Chengdu Qingcheng Start a super chill vacation. The hotel is located next to the Expo Park, and is divided into the Tianfu Renju Pavilion and the Waterfall Pavilion. Surrounded by mountains and bamboos, the lush mountain scenery is picturesque, as if you have come to a paradise. We stayed at the Tianfu Renju Pavilion. The exquisite courtyard room is like being in Kyoto. My favorite is the private hot spring, which sweeps away all the fatigue. I love it so much. In addition, there are indoor and outdoor hot springs. Looking at the scenery outside the window, drinking ginger tea and soaking in the pool, it's a unique pleasure. Brand new hotel with nice design and clean. Has USB charging port which is essential. Location is very easy to find after exit custom check. Left side is joycheer. At the junction between both hotel, there is a booth selling supper food. Breakfast has wide selection and they are good especially the hot food, steamed food and noodles station, bread section is not as tasty and did not try. Some areas to take note is the shower area has a glass door and no other door apart from a sliding door with hole. Only the toliet has its own cubicle. Strangely when using the tap, the sink makes some noise.

The two InterContinental hotels in Chengdu are both located in Tianfu New Town, which is a little far from the attractions. But this time, in order to experience a hotel where you can feel the tropics indoors, I came to this Intercontinental Global Center to check in (and taxis in Chengdu are very cheap) The hotel's lounge, breakfast room and gym are all by the swimming pool, so you can have the feeling of eating and working out by the beach! Although this restaurant does not have the iconic bear of InterContinental, it does give away two red pandas🐼 which can be considered a Sichuan specialty! You can also take Metro Line 18 to Sanchahu Station and then take a taxi for about 15 minutes. 🅿️Parking: The hotel has a large parking lot. 🔸My experience: 🔹I love the hotel style. The detached houses with small courtyards are very similar to the style of Pasadena and Irvine in Los Angeles, very chill and quiet. 🔹The service is very detailed. I arrived with my child first, and as soon as I parked my car, the hotel shuttle stopped next to me and asked if I needed help with my luggage. The butler responded quickly and was very responsive to my needs. 🔹The facilities are complete and detailed. On the way back from my trip to Chengdu, I arrived at the airport early and stopped by the lounge. I took China Eastern Airlines and visited the China Eastern Airlines lounge. As expected, Chengdu is decorated with pandas. They cooked the noodles right on the spot and they were really delicious. Make sure to spend the last part of your trip at the lounge!
