A visit to the Chin Swee Caves Temple was absolutely enchanting! Perched high on the stunning Genting Highlands, the adventure began with a thrilling ride on the Car Cable, which offers two stops. I took the opportunity to explore the magical surroundings at one of these stops before continuing my ascent.
The temple itself is a true marvel, adorned with intricate statues, set amidst a peaceful atmosphere, and surrounded by lush greenery that fills the air with a delightful forest scent. It's a refreshingly tranquil escape.
What's even better is that visiting the temple doesn't cost a thing, allowing everyone to soak in its spiritual ambiance. The modest fee for the Car Cable ride, around 25 Ringgits per person and 35 Ringgits for the glass car, is a worthwhile investment for the breathtaking vistas and unforgettable memories it provides.
For anyone seeking a captivating blend of culture and nature, the Chin Swee Caves Temple is an absolute must-see. Prepare to be spellbound by the temple's allure and the serene beauty of Genting Highlands. A memorable journey awaits you.

Awesome Chin Swee Temple
Chin Swee Temple is a Taoist temple, a place of worship for Buddhists, located in Genting Highland, Pahang, Malaysia. With an area of around 28 hectares, this forest land was donated by the founders of the Genting Group. Visitors who come to this temple are free of charge.
To get to the temple we had to go down a fairly long escalator, if I'm not mistaken there were 8 escalators going down. Even though it's free, everything is well maintained, clean and the air is cool, minimal pollution. For Muslims, there is also a prayer room at the Chin Swee Temple station.

Amazing view of temple & within easy reach via the cable car ride. There's also a vegetarian restaurant that serves nice vegetarian food & price is considered reasonable. Seems there's also rooms available at Chin Swee itself but didn't get to find out on that. Climb up the 8 floors within the temple and you can catch a good view surrounding the temple. Get some fresh air before coming down, cos I think you'll need it. ❤️❤️❤️ You will love to go and visit ❤️❤️❤️

This temple is definitely one of the best temple I had ever visit in Malaysia, it has a unique structure/ exterior, like in an classic historical chinese drama. The view of the surrounding from this height is mesmerizing, you can see the big mountains at the back. There were series of grottos cut into the hillside containing life sized figurines showing the scenes which many buddhists believe awaits sinners after death. Entrance fee was free and there are some small stall where you can buy snacks incase you feeling hungry. Parking wise not so big but it wasn’t an issue when I visited as it wasn’t too crowded.

For our year-end #staycation this year, we decided to do a spiritual retreat at Chin Swee Caves Temple and we spent 12 days at Goh Tong Hall Residence.
It’s a minimalist hostel but has all the amenities we need in a room. While there isn’t a tv which we think it’s so appropriate so that we can fully be immersed in our religious/meditative break. The room is naturally cooled with a ceiling fan which we didn’t need to switch on most of the time. Most importantly there’s hot shower and hot water tap.
The hostel has just reopened to accept devotees hence the mattresses are very new and firm. The room is very clean too. We got a nice room which is facing the nature outside.
There’s a vegetarian restaurant hence we do not need to worry about eating clean 🌱 during our religious retreat.
We had our religious study at the meditation hall at level 6. There are also 2 Taoist temples at level 7 and level G.
This is my first visit and will not be the last.

Afternoon Walk in The Clouds
During our drive down from Genting Highland peak, we discovered a super tall temple building and decided to make a pit stop.
It was written on the information board that it was build by the late Genting Group founder. The temple area was very spacious with escalators available to the upper side.
The upper side was very large - there were chairs and shelters available for the visitors to enjoy rhe serene ambience.
The temple area was surrounded by the clouds - it was very chilly up there. But the gathering clouds made the view so beautiful.
It was a nice experience and we took few photos for memories 🙂

Cim Saturn To receive prosperity, stability and good luck all year long at the temple in the middle of the Genting rainforest. Cim Saturn To Wat Chin Swee is famous among both local and international devotees for its auspiciousness.
The area is filled with Chinese architecture based on Taoist beliefs, a large statue of Guanyin, a 9-story pagoda telling the story of the journey from hell to heaven, a large carved Chinese Buddha statue, and Chinese statues on display for us to enjoy and pray for blessings. You can say that you will receive all your wishes at this temple in just one visit.
After walking around the beautiful area and praying, don't miss praying to Venerable Chin Swee, a monk who is worshipped as a god in Fujian Province, China. It is said that he has the ability to summon rain and subdue evil spirits, helping to ward off bad things and bring good things to our lives. This temple attracts both local and international devotees. Inside the hall where Venerable Chin Swee is enshrined, there are many deities enshrined, with Venerable Chin Swee at the center. Notice that Venerable Chin Swee's face is black because there is a legend that when he was still alive, he had survived a fire incident with his supernatural powers, and only his skin turned black. #VisitKuala Lumpur
