St. Sophia Cathedral was built in 1907 and is a typical Byzantine-style building. The exterior of the church is magnificent, and the interior is simple and elegant. When the sun shines on this ancient building, the golden halo reflected from the top of the church looks like a dream castle.
The Flood Control Monument is located in the square on the north section of Central Street in Daoli District, Harbin, on the banks of the Songhua River, in the middle of Stalin Park. It was built to commemorate the people of Harbin overcoming the great flood in 1957.
The Binzhou Railway Bridge, also known as the Songhua River Railway Bridge, is located on the Songhua River on the east side of Stalin Park in Daoli District, Harbin. It is a large cross-river bridge on the China Eastern Railway, with a stone pier and steel structure, a total length of 1,050.87 meters, a width of 7.2 meters, and 19 spans.
The Binzhou Railway Bridge was built in 1900. This bridge spans the wide Songhua River, connecting the two ends of the city. It is not only an important transportation hub on the Songhua River but also one of the landmark buildings in Harbin.
