Mount Fuji is beautiful from every angle! You can go on an outing in the suburbs of Tokyo without driving.
#outing
There are pleasant scenery everywhere around Mount Fuji. I think it is a charming place no matter it is spring, summer, autumn or winter.
I often think that without Mount Fuji, the Fuji Five Lakes might only be considered lakes with beautiful scenery, but with Mount Fuji, everything here becomes more romantic!
This time I arranged a two-day and one-night trip to Mount Fuji. I was lucky enough to see the complete appearance of Mount Fuji. I will also share the scenic spots I visited during these two days for your reference~
Oshino Hakkai
It is composed of 8 clear springs. Not only can you overlook Mount Fuji in the distance, but you can also take a picture of the inverse Fuji from the mirror pond.
Yamanakako
The largest lake among the five lakes. If you are lucky, you can take a perfect inverse Fuji photo here.
Unfortunately, part of the lake was frozen when I went there.
If you are driving by yourself, you can go to Nagaike Water Park, which is said to be the best place to view the Inverse Fuji!
golden torii gate
Also known as the "Karakin Torii", this place is also considered the dividing point between Mount Fuji and the world.
West Lake Regan Field
Japan’s traditional thatched house settlement, with the traditional thatched houses paired with Mount Fuji in the distance, it is really a must-visit recommendation!
There are also many experience courses to experience during holidays, which are very suitable for parent-child itinerary arrangements.
Tickets are not expensive~~350 yen for adults and 150 yen for children
Jingjin Lake. Fuji
If you are going by shuttle bus, be sure to confirm the timetable
Because there are relatively few buses, if you miss the bus while taking photos, you will have to wait for a long time!
Narusawa Ice Cave and Fugaku Wind Cave
Later, I thought that if you don’t have enough time, you can choose to experience the wind cave or the ice cave!
In comparison, the ice cave is steeper and more tortuous. There is one place where you almost have to climb to get through it. If you are traveling with people with good physical strength, I suggest you choose the ice cave to go there. It feels very adventurous~
But if you are bringing the elderly or children, it is more recommended to go to the stable wind cave.
Then be sure to wear a helmet when entering the cave! It’s really easy to scratch your scalp, don’t be cool~~
Lake Kawaguchi Natural Life Museum
In winter, there are whole fields of miscanthus swaying in the wind, which is another kind of scenery when paired with Mount Fuji.
If you get tired of walking around, there is also a cafe where you can buy a drink or ice cream to enjoy Mount Fuji.
If you visit in other seasons, there are also flower fields you can see here.
Fuji Oishi Hashira
There is a small shopping mall next to Lake Kawaguchi Natural Life Museum, which can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot.
In addition to selling local products here. In addition to handmade goods, there are also restaurants and cafes.
The park uses white exterior walls and paving stones to highlight the beauty of flowers and plants. In addition, there are hidden statues of endangered animals to find.
If you have no other arrangements after the Natural Life Museum, you might as well come here for a walk.
Famous thing Fudo ほうとう
Full of wild vegetables and springy noodles, I quite like the taste, but I may feel a little tired after eating it, but it is really happy to have a bowl of ほうとう in the cold weather
For transportation, I used the Jrpass combined with a two-day pass for the Mt. Fuji tour bus
Ticket name: Lake Kawaguchi, Saiko, Narusawa, Lake Shojin, Lake Motosu Erisa Commons
You can ride on all tour bus lines (Red Line, Green Line & Blue Line), adults 1,700 yen, children 850 yen
The CP value of the two-day tour bus ticket is really high! Just taking two or three trips to Lake Kawaguchi will almost make your money back.
Of course, there are many art museums and cable cars around Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Yamanaka. Amphibious bus. Swan boats, etc. can be arranged for the trip
Or you can visit Lake Motosu, which is further away, and admire Mount Fuji on the thousand yen bill. It’s also a good choice!
