Lima, Peru, the museum in the hidden garden
The Larco Museum is a private museum located in the villa of Larco, which has a very beautiful large garden. The museum exhibits artifacts from ancient Andean civilizations centered around Peru, mainly covering the Moche, Nasca, Wari, Chimu, Chancay, and Inca civilizations.
The main exhibits are pottery, metal ornaments, textiles, etc. The paintings and shapes on the pottery are really cartoonish, and the complex paintings on the pottery are accompanied by restoration diagrams, making it as clear as reading a comic strip.
The tapestry made of macaw feathers is so beautiful!
The gold and silver inlaid bowl reflects the Chinese philosophy of yin and yang.
The ancient Peruvians were probably the earliest users of masks, and they were metal masks 😷.
The treasure of the museum is a set of golden burial ornaments.
The museum also displays its storage warehouse for visitors to see.
If you get tired, you can rest in the library area, where there are Chinese books about American culture 📚.
There is also a souvenir shop at the entrance of the museum, mainly selling souvenirs related to the exhibits.

#Overseas travel
I visited Lima, the capital of Peru, and it was a vibrant and cultural experience. I traveled to the Miraflores area, where I enjoyed panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean from Love Park. I visited the historic center of Lima, where I was impressed by the colonial architecture of the Plaza de Armas and the Cathedral of Lima. I discovered the Larco Museum, which displays an incredible collection of ancient Peruvian art. I also tried popular local dishes such as ceviche at traditional restaurants. The atmosphere of Lima combines ancient heritage with vibrant modern life, making my visit a fun experience rich in culture and history. Lima was the perfect place to explore the charm and cultural diversity of Peru.
