If the blue romance has a shape, it is the Lugu Lake in Yunnan
If you come to Yunnan for tourism
and let me recommend a niche spot
I would say the Lugu Lake, which is 'half Yunnan and half Sichuan'.
Here, not only can you enjoy the breathtaking lake and mountain scenery, but also experience the matriarchal Mosuo culture. Nestled by the mountains and surrounded by pine forests, I come here to accompany the sun, moon, and stars, encountering the top romance of the journey!
👣 4 days and 3 nights itinerary:
Day 1: Dali - Ninglang Yi Autonomous County - Arabella Lakeview Manor
Day 2: Relax at the hotel, go to Tingxia Island for a cozy tea by the stove~
Day 3: 6-8 hours around the lake
Huahai Pier (take a pig trough boat to see the water caltrop flowers) → Caohai (Walking Marriage Bridge) → Goddess Bay → Sichuan Lover's Beach → Luyuan Cliff Viewing Platform → Xiaoluoshui Viewing Platform → Gemu Goddess Mountain (take the cable car) → Lige Peninsula Viewing Platform → Lige Village → Daluoshui Village
⚠️ (Counterclockwise for better photos with the light)
Day 4: Wake up naturally and return to Dali/Lijiang/Shangri-La
🏨 We chose to stay in the most bustling Daluoshui Village—on the hillside; it is a small world that is quiet in the midst of the hustle and bustle, independent of the world. Lying in bed facing the mountain and lake scenery, looking at Gemu Goddess Mountain from afar. It is also one of the best spots to watch the sunset! The internet-famous hotel Tingxia Island and it share the same owner. We also booked a camping version of 'stove-cooked tea' with the front desk, which is really chill and pleasant! Instantly fell in love 🩵
⚠️ Tips:
