This is a must visit lake in Switzerland! It took only few hours to get there. There was no available cable car at that time as they are doing there maintenance thingy in preparation for the upcoming winter season. So plan ahead if you are not fund of hiking. But for me, It was so amazing! I enjoyed my time by admiring the beauty of God’s creation. Also , there is no entrance fee needed. You can bring your own mat and foods over there. I was in Switzerland for over a week in mid-May, and since my trip wasn't too tight, I chose the place flexibly depending on the weather. In May, Switzerland was cold because it rained a lot. It was hot on a sunny day. It was raining that day, so I was looking for a place to go and ended up going to Lake Oeschinen. At first, I couldn't see anything because of the rain and clouds, so I just wanted to enjoy the silence and go, but soon after, the rain stopped and the sun came out! The sunlight and clouds reflecting on the emerald water were truly spectacular. In fact, there were no people because it was raining. I think the weather is really hard to predict.
