DON DON DONKI PLQ Mall Address : 10 Paya Lebar Rd, PLQ Mall, Level 4 04-08, 409057 Came across this Donki outlet at paya lebar quater. Was attracted by their display outside of their store. There were gachapon machines, claw machines, kiddy rides and some photo taking displays. Decided to go in and get some groceries. I found some snacks that were pretty rare. Not many super market or donki outlet have them. There was also a eating area and plenty of food options.

#mysgmemories I had a late lunch at Pizza Hut in PLQ when I was there recently. My colleague tried the shrooms melt set and he said that he prefer the normal pizza over it.

I bought a set meal of one personal pan pizza, and topped up with 4 pieces of chicken wings. I love their chicken wings!

However we were rather disappointed at how slow the service was despite being 4pm and there was no on else but it took about 30 mins for our dishes to be served.

However since I was able to buy the student meal set, I decided it was still worth it for the price. I asked my friend who works in the area and slow service seems to be the norm. Do not dine in here if you are in a rush! Oh by the way they ran out of green tea too lol

My husband ordered fish and chips and i ordered chicken chop. We really like the fish and chip. The batter is crispy and not thick. You can really taste and chew the fish in it. They also added something sour to the mayo and it complemented the fish and chips perfectly. My chicken chop was great too. Tender and juicy. Just not as impressive as the fish and chips. Service was great. Staff were attentive. Serving speed was about 10mins for the chicken chop and probably 15mins for the fish. Would definitely come back soon! #shopandtrip Located at Paya Lebar Quarters is this Halal ramen perfect for a group of friends that’s craving for ramen! It’s my first time trying a halal ramen and I tried the special bowl with crab, I was quite impressed they gave scissor meant for crab and even gloves for you to eat the meal easily. And I also topped up for the additional drink. However I think the ramen broth cannot be compared to the usual non halal ones.

Once again, I am back for this annual drinking event "Sake Matsuri 2023" where the organiser brings different styles of Japanese sake from all over the world in a single event. However, not only limited to just nihonshu. Some breweries venture out to produce different types of alcohol auch as whiakies and vodka etc. Personally, I prefer alcohol on the sweeter side with fruity and floral aromas. Highlight of today would be Hinemos where they their sakes according to the time of the day which I find very interesting. And they have a variety of sweet sakes for the light and medium drinker with different alcohol percentages. Be it western or Asian choices. We ordered the interesting specials like Kale Tofu with Black Truffle Wildrice, Brown Rice with Red Quinoa in hot stone pot, XO Fried Rice as mains. Especially love their double boiled herbal soups paired with interesting healthy mock tails. We had pink lychee rose and pink guava chrysanthemum. Unique twist is that they will serve a shot of apple cider at halftime to clear your palate and prepare your tummy for clean eating. Even the drinking water is infused with rosemary leaves instead of the commonly used lemon. Visited PLQ Mall Singapore and had lunch at Paradise Dynasty restaurant. This restaurant is serving famous Xiao Long Bao and also good pork chop Lamien. The servicing staffs are all very attentive and provide very good and fast serving. It is recommended to make reservations as it got pretty crowded during lunch time. Ordered some drunken chickens and pork chop lamien and all very delicious. Highly recommended restaurant to come with friends and family.

The set includes a cup of tea/ coffee of your choice and a massive pork and egg sandwich. This place has a lengthy history; it is a franchise right bought from Taiwan that has reached the shores of Singapore because a guy who loves God travelled to Taiwan to explore franchise cooperation. According to claims, the owner of Fong Sheng Hao in Taiwan rejected numerous proposals before deciding to grant franchise rights to this man, with whom he has the same faith. It’s located on level 4 and what attracted us is the Donki Food Hall. It is located opposite the retail area and it offers mainly Japanese street food. This outlet seems to offer more seating but of course tables would be a lot closer. We like the sushi/sashimi section where there’s a open window which allows the public to see what and how the foods are prepared.
