The Royal Canadian Mint
The Royal Canadian Mint is just near the National Gallery of Canada. Constructed 1905-1908 to house a branch of the British Royal Mint. The main purpose of this building is to produce coins and medals using refinery foe gold produced by Canadian Mines. There are 2 options when you want to go inside:
1. FREE but you can only go to the Boutique or store and buy some unique coins or memorablias.
2. $10 FEE a guided tour about the history of The Canadian Mint and how coins were produced and developed as time goes by. I chose FREE 😂 .

Royal Canadian Mint
The attractions in Ottawa are relatively concentrated
The Royal Mint is right next to the National Gallery
There is a beautiful gift shop inside, which is a good choice for souvenirs
You don't need a ticket just to visit the gift shop
But you need to buy a ticket to visit the inside of the mint today
The ticket office is right at the entrance, about 16 Canadian dollars per person
There are special guides who explain the process, but they only offer explanations in English and French
The whole explanation process takes about 40 minutes
At the end, they give you a note with a 'Grin' emoji
The gold coin in the third picture is this year's new model, really like it but really can't afford it
Can only look at the pictures
Note: It is forbidden to take photos or videos inside the entire mint
Of course, there are also affordably priced commemorative coins in the gift shop
It's definitely worth a visit
