Along the Lumei Line, there are small streams. We mainly chose two spots for water play: 📍 In front of the Yanduo Resort Mountain Lodge, where the water is shallow and perfect for kids. Shishe Village and Lutz Village are also good for water play, but it's a bit sunny; the water play spots here have shade, and there are places to eat nearby. Kids can play in the stream while parents relax under the shade, making it a leisurely experience! 📍 One Tea One Seat, where there are bamboo rafts for playing and great photo opportunities. If you dine there, you can play in the water for free.
🎠OMG Heartbeat Park (Pics 12 - 18)
There are many fun activities here, and the walking distance is really short! You can take a boat, ride the sky ladder, or ride the Pegasus to climb the mountain. See Pic 18 for the specific route. Suitable activities for kids include: ✔️ Chuiyun Tongtian River: Take a boat into the underground cave ✔️ Tianlu Flying Car: Super fun to drive, and you can control the speed yourself ✔️ Lingkong Piaoyue: A glass walkway drift in the air, with a gentle slope ✔️ Tianma Xingkong: Ride the carousel up the mountain easily

Daqishan Forest Park (Pics 6 - 11)
Bamboo sea, waterfalls, cliffs, suspension bridges, the scenery is stunning! You can play in the water all along the way. Our route: Qingqing World (a non-powered children's playground with climbing, swings, slides, etc.) ➡️ Happy Forest (glass drift, go-karts, trampolines, etc.) ➡️ Water Curtain Waterfall (a beautiful waterfall with a blue pool, full of fish) ➡️ Tianchi ➡️ Forest Flying Squirrel (a jungle coaster for descending the mountain, takes a few minutes but super fun)
Tips: If you are with kids or elderly people, you can return after reaching the Water Curtain Waterfall, as the road ahead is more difficult to walk.

Tips:
1️⃣Wear comfortable shoes, you basically don't have to climb in the entire scenic area, take the magic carpet up the mountain, and raft down the hill, you won't be too tired throughout the journey

👉 Follow the main road along the river, turn right after seeing the bridge and walk another 100 meters, and you will see a village square. Walk another 50 meters, and you will see a mailbox, which is your destination. Here you can find architecture from the Ming and Qing periods, horse-head walls, grey tiles and white walls, with bamboo and mountains in the distance forming a stark color contrast.
👉 Shidun Bridge is right on the main road by the river. At the second intersection, you will see a stone arch leading downwards. Go through it, and you will arrive at the riverside, where you can see the village's second Shidun Bridge. Many tourists play in the water here, especially children who like to have water fights. It is also a great spot to stand on the stone piers for photography, as you can capture a reflective effect.
👉 The stone arch tunnel is right behind you, very cool, and can create a profound feeling in photos.
👉 To view the entire ancient village from above, you can drive to the entrance of the village and follow the main road upwards, where you will find a parking lot. 【First Section Shishe Village】
1. It's hard to hail a taxi, it took half an hour to find one... If you really can't find one, there's a bus every half hour
2. The shops in Shishe Village are quite interesting, like the 'Panic Yarn' store. Many people recommend staying in Shishe, but I didn't see many guesthouses actually
3. The most beautiful view of Shishe Village is at the beginning of the ancient trail, where you can see the panoramic view of the village and the S-shaped river, surrounded by green mountains and waters – it's simply wonderful~
【Second Section Maoping Village】
1. The signs on the ancient trail in Maoping Village are not very clear, we felt something was wrong and took a wild path down the mountain into the village halfway. The villagers said the ancient trail stops here for a while, and the second half continues from the bottom of the mountain
2. There's a small market in the village center square, bought a bottle of beef sauce which tasted good, zongzi and fermented rice dumplings were also delicious (probably because we were hungry, there seems to be no restaurants in the village
3. There's a beautiful ancient bridge, and under the bridge, there's even a 'Bridge Hole Coffee' hidden, you have to admire the owner's creativity! On both sides of the bridge hole, it's like a barbecue camp, several tables of people are enjoying their drinks, under the green trees, over the green river, with a breeze blowing, it's just too comfortable~
【Third Section Baibu Street】
The new section of the ancient trail, from the mountains to the fields, passing through large farmlands, comes to Baibu Street Pavilion, next to it is a thousand-year-old camphor tree, which commands respect
【Fourth Section Xiekengkou Village】
Walking forward to the main road, following the steps of a teahouse down, there's a half-moon-shaped dam, you can walk across, but your shoes might get a bit wet in the middle. The shore is a bit slippery, be very careful! We witnessed a boy falling into the water, it wasn't deep and not dangerous, but it was really embarrassing..
【Fifth Section Lutz Village】
1. On the way from Xiekengkou to Lutz, we crossed another green mountain and a maple forest, and met a sexy little wild cat rubbing against our legs, couldn't help but stroke it a few times
2. Finally, we successfully returned to my great Lutz Village, I thought 12km would be difficult, but after walking and stopping for five or six hours, I didn't feel tired at all
3. Decided to treat myself in the evening, went to the best barbecue restaurant in town recommended by the villagers, local specialties like grilled fish tail and stinky tofu were all good (ate back all the weight I lost today). After eating, went for a foot massage, couldn't find a very formal one so settled for one, but didn't expect to be able to sing karaoke in a foot massage shop haha
In the end, I don't know who designed the Malingshan Ancient Trail, but I'm very grateful. From the mountains, fields, waters, to the forests, each section is full of wild fun and surprises. Special praise for the small canal that accompanied us all the way, clear and lively, picked a small flower along the way and put it in the canal, then followed the speed of the flower drifting, and realized that not rushing and walking slowly feels really good

Shishe Village
The most remote administrative village on the Fuchun River, it is also an ancient village with a 'village flavor'. The village is not large, but it has a history of 400 years. The name of the village comes from the fact that the inhabitants live in houses built with stones, hence the name Shishe.
At first glance, the entire ancient village is built against the mountain and resides by the water. The stream is emerald green, and looking up, you are surrounded by a 'green fairyland'. The water is clear and has shallow banks, suitable for children to get close to nature.
On the mountain opposite Shishe Village is the end of the Malin Ancient Trail. Climbing up, you can overlook the entire village with an excellent view.
The village also retains a large number of architectural structures from the Ming and Qing dynasties. A glimpse inside feels like seeing the real life of our ancestors.
