Very interesting area to look around. Lots cafe, shops, restaurants, very trendy and young designed, lots of old hidden building. Near the homes of rich European residents of Yokohama, this neighborhood displays mostly high end brands. It's still a nice place to take a stroll especially that they have nice illuminating decorations for the holidays.

A lively stretch of shopping street for both locals and tourists. Musical events with food & beverage booths, live performances are held here periodically especially during the summer season.

#thingstodo Great atmosphere along this trendy shipping strip.We were fortunate to be present when the classic Japan rally rolled through. The old cars really raised the vibe and atmosphere. Fantastic place to visit and wander around.Best place to do shopping in Yokohama. Many branded clothings, wines, jewellery shops available. Adjacent to China Town and Yamashita park.

#2024wish This is Yokohama's version of Fifth Avenue. Motomachi is a pleasant street with quite a variety of boutiques and restaurants. Many of them are local brands. There are also plenty of seats in case visitors want to sit and experience the lively shopping scene. Pleasant pedestrian-friendly shopping street but the buildings are a bit monochrome with a lot of grey buildings and paving. I want to go shopping here again.
