I grew up in a different island in the Philippines but if I were given a chance to live in another island it would be Puerto Prinsesa, Palawan. This place is soooo stunning! • Me and my husband stayed at Astoria Palawan for 4 nights and this place has it all. From kayaking, to cycling, swimming and this resort has a waterpark for your kiddos! • Sunrise is amazing and sunset is even more breathtaking while sitting in front of Sulu Sea. •We went to a tour booked by our resort and this is the view of Tres Marias Island. We went to a buffet restaurant with mountain views. • Went to visit the UNESCO Underground river. It was highly recommended! Overall, such a great experience!

The Underground River is an exciting attraction to do in Puerto Princesa. It takes around two hours from Puerto princesa town by car. Once you reach the spot, you will get to ride a boat inside a huge dark cave with lots of cool rocks with different shapes and sleeping bats. It is a must to wear helmet and life vest. Also they provide earphones for the journey, you will listen to interesting facts about the cave. Definitely it's a great adventure that shows you how amazing nature can be. I highly recommend the following TWO restaurants to eat at when you are planning a trip to Puerto Princesa. 1. Badjao Seafront Restaurant - Great ocean view, beautiful entrance, delicious food and reasonably priced. Try the raw fish "cooked" in vinegar appetizer. 2. Kajoels Restaurant - To enter the restaurant, you will be required to take off your shoes as to not damage the wooden floors. It is romantic, has great ambiance, and good island feels.

I went to El Nido for a few days and did Tour A, Tour C and Tour D. I was so fascinated when I reached at some of the places like Small Lagoon even knowing that it would be beautiful from the pictures beforehand. The limestone rock formations, the white-sand beaches, the pristine water… El Nido just has it all. The town is quite touristy and also worth a visit. Want to go back already #ElNido

Located on the outskirts of Puerto Princesa, Microtel is a hidden Gem. The room was great. It was very clean it had great water pressure. Amenities were excellent. Plenty of room in the fridge and the self serve water was excellent. Breakfast was amazing. Served precisely at 6 AM, breakfast was always delicious. Coffee was fresh and tasted great. A perfect staycation due to food being served through their restaurant… you never have to leave the hotel. The long walks we’re amazing. A lot of places to explore. We get there by 4 wheels but you can get a van or rent a car it's 1hour away from Airport or from City Centre... approaching the downhill into the seaside you can see the amazing overlooking beach i swear you gonna all say Wooooow🤩and when you arrive at the sea shore you can witness the young energetic 🏄‍♂️ surfer as it's like we call mini surfing place so cute nice place and real Sapphire sand,you can rent a cottage cost very affordable or bring own umbrella and table as you want,pets are allowed and one thing im glad for is they have rescuer anytime could save lives... One of the tastiest cafe lattes I have ever drank ☕️☕️ The double chocolate cake to top it off was just right. Not overly rich sweet and very creamy. My wife had tried the Oreos & cream shake, she didn’t complain one bit. Definitely a great pit top to fuel up and rest a little bit. This Bo’s Coffee was located inside SM Puerto Princesa Mall.

if you happen to visit pUerto Princesa Cowrie Island is the finest Beach you can find. It is located in honda Bay. Rent the whole boat for a Thousand something. entrance in the island PHp 100 and Cottage is PHP 500. Theh open at 7:00 am till 5 PM. it’s clean and very relaxing. This place is far beyond our expectations. Very Friendly stuff. Van or trike is always available where’ver you want to go. ythey have lots of recreational area for all ages. Breakfast buffet is amazing. unlimited bacooon! The place is suitable for family whether you want to go to the water park or just relaxing in your room. They have karaoke nights , board games or PlayStation area overnight swimming is until 10 pm. We tried the two big pool and we love it. Stayed last May, the beach was amazing and clean, water is calm and shoreline is peaceful. The room is spacious and big but may need some touch ups and the resort itself needs some maintenance The service however is a different story. It was newly opened from pandemic closure and typhoon when we stayed. We would’ve understood if they were in a soft opening, but it would also help if the resort have managed the expectations of the customers by educating us about it and by updating their website and adding disclaimers of what is only available during our stay and what areas are closed. Food was just ok for a 5 star resort.
