We took Safari ride to visiting Herbivore zone and carnivore zone and are arranged to feed giraffe and Rhino, funny experience but bit excited. Spent 80 mins for whole ride about 1.5 km with slow speed and guided by pilot car. Pilot keeps talking to you over walkie talkie and introduce the animals along the trip. You should make reservation on their web page if you want to drive by yourself which cost you about 20,000 yen. You can also choose to ride buggy but it is allowed to visit herbivore zone only.

Sandanbeki Cliff has two parts, both the inside and the outside. To access the underground caves, you would have to take an elevator down, and follow the path to see the different parts of the underground caves. There are areas where you can see the rocks that have been washed and cut out by the waves, and the splashing of the waves can be quite surreal. Upon exiting the underground caves, do check out the cliffs as well. Heard that this place is one of the favourite suicide place in Japan. However, the view is breathtaking. Beautiful rocks cut into pieces with constant sea waves over million of years. Enjoy the fresh air and a short walk from the carpark! The view is scenic, and makes for good photos. Hotel location close to the bus station only 5-7mins by walk, there is one supermarket nearby the hotel, really convience. For my reservation included dinner and breakfast buffet, buffet provided a lot of food choice and free drinks, the food quality was unexpected than I thought, food taste was good. Onsen was perfect, but only 2 onsens available, and one of the onsen size smaller than another, need to wait until morning to change the onsen from ladies to men, but overall was awesome. Night time can enjoy the massage chair, karaoke, comic room etc. ,the facilities was well prepared after dinner or onsen to enjoy it. On July 2, 2024, I went on a day trip to Shirahama Town in Wakayama Prefecture. From early morning to night, I had a fulfilling day. Flight Information ✈️ 🛫Outbound: JL213, Departing Haneda at 07:20 - Arriving at Nanki-Shirahama at 08:35 🛬Return: JL218, Departing Nanki-Shirahama at 18:35 - Arriving at Haneda at 19:45 1️⃣ Sandanbeki (Cave) 🏞️ The first place I visited was the famous cliff 'Sandanbeki' on the Shirahama coast. The magnificent rock wall stretches about 2 kilometers towards the sea, and I was overwhelmed by its power. At the base of the rock wall, there is a 36-meter-deep cave formed by sea erosion, which can be explored by descending an elevator. I was impressed by the mystical space created by the power of nature. 2️⃣ Senjojiki 🌅 Next, I visited 'Senjojiki.' The waves have eroded the sandstone, creating a vast rock formation with the area of a thousand tatami mats. The unique terrain and the expansive view are truly spectacular, and the sunset over the Pacific Ocean is so beautiful that it has been selected as one of Japan's top 100 sunsets. I was captivated by the contrast of the sky and sea dyed by the sunset. 3️⃣ Shirarahama 🏖️ Shirarahama is a beach famous for its white quartz sand and hot springs. I stayed at 'Tore Tore Village' in Nanki Shirahama, which has a cute round shape. It is conveniently located near the bus stop, and you can also take a bus to Adventure Land and Shirarahama. The cute appearance lifts your spirits. We stayed in a room where we laid out our own futons, but there are also rooms with beds and panda-themed rooms. You can lay out futons on the carpeted room whenever you like, making it easy for families with children. Although small, there is a bath with a proper washing area. Shirahama Chiteleschimore Hotel I didn’t stay in this hotel, but outsiders can enter the cafe inside the hotel (in fact, we didn’t even use the cafe 😂). Remember to come at sunset, because there is a public immersion area outside the Cafe. In the foot pool (remember to bring your own towel), you can soak your feet while enjoying the sunset. Relax in the hot springs, and where to go for sightseeing after checking out? Right in front of you is a beautiful sea. This is the scenery in early December 2024. On this day, Shirahama Adventure World happened to be closed, but we were very satisfied to see the beautiful Pacific Ocean from Senjojiki and Sandanbeki. The orange flowers of Aloe Vera were blooming, and the contrast between the red hibiscus and the blue sky and sea was truly beautiful. There is also a cave.

Shirahama in Wakayama Prefecture, near Osaka, is a resort destination with fine white sand beaches and rugged coastlines. It is also the gateway to the World Heritage Kumano Kodo. [Shirarahama Beach] Shirarahama Beach is known as the most beautiful beach in Kansai. The fine white sand is actually imported from Australia, and the sand quality is very good. It's a great place to take photos all year round. [Senjojiki] Senjojiki is a coastal attraction with spectacular rocky terrain. The name comes from the fact that it looks like "a thousand stacked tatami mats." The rocks extend into the sea, and walking here feels like walking into the Pacific Ocean. [Engetsu Island] Engetsu Island is an uninhabited island not far from the hotel I stayed at this time. The island is special because the center has been eroded by the sea to form a round moon-shaped gap. It is very beautiful at sunset, so be sure to come here to watch the sunset.
