Hsinchu Guanxi Cuisine - Zhongli Old Brand Beef Noodles.
Although the name of the restaurant is Zhongli Old Brand Beef Noodles, it is not located in Zhongli! It is sold in Guanxi Town, Hsinchu. There is a free parking lot, and many people come here to eat braised dishes and beef noodles.
The beef noodles with half tendon and half meat are recommended, and the thin noodles taste better than the thick ones. The soup is good and you can get free refills. Sharing this Hsinchu delicacy with everyone.
Come camp! Hsinchu Beipu Yongmao Forest Camping Area! Surrounded by forests, absorb phytoncides!
Forest campsites have always been a popular choice for camping.
There are many forest campsites in Hsinchu,
but this Yongmao campsite is probably less well-known.
But it looks really beautiful in photos, so I must recommend it to you!
When I went there, I was the only one in the tent, so the whole forest was ours 😍 It was great no matter how you set it up or how you take photos!
Area D uses firewood to heat water, so when there are not many tents,
the camp owner will ask the campers to take a shower at other campsites🛁
In addition to setting up your own tent, there are also cabins to stay in,
which is very suitable for the whole family to go there (young people set up tents, elders stay in cabins, etc.)
I took a lot of photos in two days and I was so happy!
Recommended to you!

Hsinchu | Spark Studio, Five Senses Experience x Fluorescent Painting.
This time, we visited Spark Studio and participated in the super fun Five Senses Experience class. There are various painting tools and paints here, and children can freely unleash their creativity. The best part is that the fluorescent effect when the lights are turned off is really beautiful. The artworks glow, and the whole space is filled with a dreamy atmosphere.
Unfortunately, we were a bit late because we rushed over after checking out from the hotel, so we couldn't fully experience all the fun. But this time's theme was the Underwater World, and it was the last day. The next theme is camping, which also sounds super interesting!
If we have the chance, experiencing other themes would definitely be even more fun!
[Hsinchu Accommodation] The HO Hotel - Recommended Hsinchu Accommodation🛏️
The four-star hotel Hexuan Hotel, located near the interchange, has a spacious design for the hotel and rooms. There is a public space at the elevator exit on each floor (Figure 7), where people who don't want to stay in the room can Sit here and drink coffee, chat and play computer. There is also a gym and sauna on the top floor of the hotel, where travelers can relax!
The room is decorated with wooden floor, soft lighting and king-size bed, which makes you feel like you are at home and relaxing. Unfortunately, the dry and wet separation design of the bathroom is not familiar to Taiwanese people. The bathtub is a bit high and you have to enter. Showering was a bit inconvenient.
The breakfast options are rich, ranging from bread to porridge, side dishes or braised food, which is a big plus, and the dining environment is also good.
Unfortunately, we still have to adapt to the new policy in 2025. The hotel no longer provides amenity. If you need it, you can buy a whole set of amenity from the hotel's vending machine. The price is 100 yuan. The only plus point is that the hotel provides drinking water. Machines can be installed if there is not enough water. We still hope to provide spare parts for free to those in need.

Hsinchu|A quiet old street with few people so it’s very chill
If you are tired of walking around Hsinchu City, you might want to consider going to Hukou Township in the suburbs of Hsinchu County, where there is a quiet century-old street with no commercial stores, only oldness and simplicity.
Wherever there is an old street, it means that the local area was very prosperous in the past, which is why there are these Baroque buildings. The completion of the Dahukou Post Station on the longitudinal railway in 1893 made Hukou an important commercial town in Hsinchu. However, the railway was later rerouted and the station was moved to the current location of Hukou Station. The population moved northward and Hukou Old Street also declined.
This old street is much quieter than Jiufen, Sanxia and other old streets, allowing people to calmly feel the nostalgic atmosphere, stroll comfortably on the stone street and admire the buildings on both sides.
📍Hukou Old Street
Take the Taiwan Railway to Hukou Station, transfer to Hsinchu Bus No. 5612 or 5613, and get off at Hujing Village. However, the bus service is very infrequent, so it would be much more convenient to drive yourself.

Hsinchu. Zhubei|Lan Zuo Steakhouse
"LAZO Steak" located near Shuizhen Park in Zhubei is famous for its exquisite steaks and innovative dining experience. The high ceiling design combines modernity and luxury - very suitable for couples to dine on a date. In addition to steaks, the restaurant's menu also includes a variety of sides and appetizers to complement the main courses and enhance the overall dining experience.
The pre-meal bread comes with three flavors of cream: original, peanut and truffle, and every bite is full of surprises. I particularly like the mushroom-style coffee. The plate is designed to look like a cup of coffee, making people unable to help but take a second look. The soup is rich and the mushroom particles have a rich taste, bringing multi-layered enjoyment to the taste buds. The main meal is really satisfying. The lobster meat is juicy and sweet, and you can feel the deliciousness of the ocean in every bite. The steak is perfectly cooked to the right level, with a medium-to-high texture and flavor.
All in all, this is really an ideal place for couples to go on dates, celebrate festivals and other special occasions.

Hsinchu Neiwan-Love Train Station
Hexing Station, known as the "Love Train Station", is located in Hengshan Township, Hsinchu. It was originally a train station that was about to be abandoned. A couple claimed this station to commemorate the love that sprouted here, and turned it into a romantic attraction suitable for couples to travel together💕💕💕
When I first came here after hearing about it, I found the surrounding scenery strangely familiar. Later I realized that it was less than five minutes’ drive from my grandmother’s house.
During this second visit, I found that there are some new scenes suitable for taking photos. The station still maintains the old wooden architecture. There is a "Love Waiting Room" in the station, where a super-large bear 🐻 is placed. You can take photos with him~
There are many slogans and decorations about happiness and love in the station❤️There is a wall full of love locks, which is said to be the proof of love left by lovers when they come here🥰It happened to be a holiday on the day of the visit, and the steam train in the park was carrying passengers in high spirits🚂🚂🚂
Over the past few decades, Hexing Station has witnessed countless love stories and delivered happiness of all sizes. We hope that this place can be passed down forever like the love of that couple.

Hsinchu Exploration Store, around Jucheng, high CP value, affordable izakaya
"Fufu Kitchen" located on Shijie Street in Hsinchu is decorated with a Japanese-style atmosphere. The first floor is a bar area, and the second floor has independent boxes and multi-person seating areas. This time I ordered a seasonal limited menu (the chef said that it changes every season so that it can give customers a full sense of freshness every time ~ it is considerate enough)
# Salt-roasted Iberian pork pork Q-bombs and chewy set meal will come with vinegar rice + small fried shrimps. The vinegar rice has a strong vinegar flavor and is paired with Iberian pig. It is very satisfying and appetizing. I like it very much # Slow-cooked duck leg vermicelli pot. If you like taro duck stew, don’t miss it. The soup is cooked very rich and delicious. The meat of the duck leg is not dry. #Crispy Cherry Duck Nigiri Sushi. The translucent crispy skin on top of the duck meat brings out the burnt aroma and tastes 100 The taste is also 100 points. #tamagoyaki and #fried shrimp tempura are must-haves for izakayas. Overall, the ingredients in #福福kitchen are fresh and the quantity is sufficient. The location is very close to the Chenghuang Temple and the giant city. Come here when you are tired after the trip. It’s also a good choice to eat~especially the izakayas that open at noon are really rare~recommended

#NAWHAT TO EAT | Hsinchu City. North District
The popular Japanese tempura specialty store "Xiamen" is officially back after two years of closure!!! The location of the new store is really convenient near the Chenghuang Temple!!! The store has two floors, and the first floor is an open kitchen. In addition to the seating area, the second floor is a small box table for one person like Ichiran (very considerate). It is fun to order and pay using the self-service ordering machine~
Meals are mainly set meals, including main course tempura, soup, rice and side dishes. #Ebiraoteishi is very sincere in giving four grass shrimps with tender meat and a fresh and sweet taste. Every bite is satisfying. # ducktendon set meal comes with 5 slices of duck meat and wild vegetables. The meat is not dry and is easy to eat. The grains are distinct. The white rice is paired with half-cooked egg liquid, and you can really eat it one bite after another! #tempura set meal contains conger eel, white meat fish, chicken breast, flower branches, wild vegetables... etc. The fried food itself is not deliberately seasoned but can show off the flavor. The ingredients are fresh - the oversized conger eel is rich in sweetness and has no fish bones. It is easy to eat. The slightly sour dipping sauce balances the greasiness of the fried food. If you don’t like to eat, you can also buy udon noodles at an additional price. The noodles are soft and absorb the soup. I like it very much. The soup is a bit sweet and very tasty~
The newly relaunched "Laughing Door" has a more textured decoration, and the meals are rich and sincere. It is really full and full!! It is highly recommended for those who like fried tempura to try it. It is recommended to go early on holidays~ because there are already queues of people before the doors open~

Exploring Hsinchu: The Perfect Encounter of Tableware and Japanese Cuisine
Hsinchu. East District|Minfood
The name 'Minfood' sounds like 'abundant tableware and food' in Chinese, reminiscent of a cozy yet refined Japanese eatery. The decor features a palette of gray, white, and wood tones, complemented by some greenery, making it a great spot for photos.
As for the savory dishes, they are all light yet flavorful, which I really enjoyed. However, I was quite disappointed with the shaved ice that I had high expectations for. I ordered the #Mulberry Yogurt Shaved Ice, and the combination was a bit odd. The mulberry flavor was not strong enough, which was a pity.
If we only consider the main dishes, I still highly recommend this place.

Stay one night in a horse-drawn carriage🏕️New Taipei style camping
Have you ever slept on a carriage?
I like tent-free camping, and the camping area I went to this time actually allowed horseback riding.
🐎🐎🐎
As soon as I arrived at the camp, my eyes lit up when I saw the super cute carriage tent🤩
The space inside is large and can accommodate double-decker bunk beds. The mattress is a soft double bed with quilts and pillows. It’s so fun to camp like this🏕️
In addition, the wood-toned interior of the carriage is also very impressive, giving it the atmosphere of a western cowboy movie, which is awesome 🤠
🐎🐎🐎
There’s no need to worry about boredom here, the camp provides interesting equestrian instruction, so you can enjoy horseback riding.
This is my first time riding a horse! Very happy 🥰
Next, there are archery experiences and shooting games. You can enjoy the thrill of shooting with bows, arrows and guns. It’s really fun.
🏹🏹🏹
Dinner is BBQ. It’s really convenient that you don’t need to bring your own ingredients when camping. The campsite will prepare them for you, so you can simply enjoy the picnic with your friends🍖
The carriage at night is also particularly beautiful. Under the light, it looks as romantic as a movie poster✨
Breakfast will be prepared the next day at the camp, including delicious pizza, toast and drinks, thank you~😋

Location: No. 110, Wuchang Street, East District, Hsinchu City
Introduction: Hsinchu Public Hall is a historical building located at No. 110, Wuchang Street, Hsinchu City, Taiwan. Construction of the Hsinchu Public Hall began in 1920 and was completed in 1921 at a cost of 74,593 yen. After the war, Hsinchu Public Hall was renamed Hsinchu County Government Zhongshan Hall. In 1955, the Taiwan Provincial Hsinchu Social Education Center opened and borrowed the Hsinchu County Government's Zhongshan Hall as a venue for activities. It also added buildings several times, causing the Hsinchu Public Hall building during the Japanese colonial period in Taiwan to be covered by other buildings. In 2009, the Hsinchu Social Education Center was renamed the National Hsinchu Living Aesthetics Center and continued to use the Hsinchu Public Hall as the venue for activities. Hsinchu Public Hall was listed as a cultural asset of Hsinchu City in 2011 and registered as a historical building. The "Hsinchu Public Hall Complex Restoration and Reuse Project" started on March 11, 2019, was completed on September 5, 2022, and will reopen on October 22, 2022, restoring the century-old splendor of the Hsinchu Public Hall.
Tickets: Free admission
Opening hours: 9:00-17:00, closed on Mondays
Comments: This place has a history of a hundred years. It was formerly a public hall from the Japanese era, used for local meetings and gatherings. Now it has been changed into a museum of life aesthetics. The old house has been transformed and some art and cultural works are often exhibited inside. It is a popular check-in spot for literary youths, suitable for the whole family to experience the charm of the old house.

Taiwan|Hsinchu Iron Pancakes🧇Enjoy the afternoon sun!
Hsinchu, Taiwan | Zhubei Lambkin Cafe’
A Korean-style natural light cafe in a small alley❤️
Ordered four drinks, including coffee, au lait, and delicious berry tea!
The interior decoration of the store is very comfortable and clean, and the furniture is decorated in warm wood and white! Drinks and desserts are paired with light music, and the atmosphere is very peaceful:)
The coffee drinks are delicious, and the cups used are also very cute and exquisite!
There aren't that many tea options, but they're also very smooth, and the berry tea is full of fruity aroma ~ I feel great after drinking it❤️
Highly recommend their desserts!
The iron pancakes are a must! The waiting time is long, you can tell the staff when you enter the store, they will prepare it immediately >< The cakes are all made by the store every day, the cream has a dense texture, and the taste is refreshing and not sweet🌷

【 2023 Hsinchu Attractions 】 Leofoo Village Amusement Park Laughing Eagle Tombstone Halloween 🎃
The most spectacular Halloween theme park in Taiwan is none other than Leofoo Village's "Tombstone Town"
The Western Ghost Festival can be experienced in Leofoo Village, and there are also parades and performances.
Leofoo Village Amusement Park is really big. I only played 2 areas this time.
It may have something to do with the large crowds; I only played 2 facilities in Tombstone.
Because one facility takes more than 90-100 minutes to queue up🥹
Including watching the parade, I spent almost a whole morning in Tombstone.
There are many dishes that suit the occasion. I didn't make a reservation for "The Ghost Restaurant" this time, but there will be dishes that suit the occasion and there will also be wonderful performances invited from abroad. I look forward to making a reservation next year.
The food at the outdoor Halloween food trucks is pretty delicious. I really liked the black ice cream this time. There are also long hot dog burgers (not suitable for children because they are spicy). As for the drinks, I think they are all the same, mostly soda.
There are a lot of scary skull shapes in Tombstone Town. Although there are a lot of children, you still have to keep an eye on the children, as some of them will be scared.
There are scary shapes to choose from in the store. This time we bought a scary bear mask, which is also very cute for children 👧🏻

[2023 Hsinchu Attractions] Kite Festival at Nanliao Fishing Port
Hsinchu is a famous windy city, so it is very suitable for hosting this event.
It’s so beautiful. I’ve always wanted to go on a pilgrimage.
A typhoon caused a delay of one week, so I was lucky to be on holiday.
There are indeed a lot of people, and there is an area where you can also fly kites by yourself🪁
Most of them have ocean themes ~ there are many stingrays, squids, whales, etc.
The scene is very spectacular and beautiful; in the evening, the kites will be lit up
The picture of Qi Fei is clearer, but I still prefer to watch it during the day
Blue sky, white clouds and green grass with colorful kites♥︎
If you have a chance next year, remember to come and enjoy it🥰

Regardless of the indoor atmosphere, service or pot items, I personally give them very high praise. After visiting branches in other counties and cities, I still think Guangming Temple is great. Even the pots feel well-designed. The service staff are very friendly and the service is also good. Very thoughtful.
We ordered Laohuo soup and spicy mandarin duck pot. The spicy pot base is all you can eat. The Laohuo soup soup is rich and delicious. The spicy pot is also super delicious. The waiters will keep refilling the duck blood and tofu pot base. Not long after eating, the clerk came to ask if I needed more. The service attitude was super good.
Each table has free tea with unlimited refills, and free smoothies are provided during meals. There are also many discount activities in the store. The service staff will check out what activities are available at that time and enthusiastically recommend them!
Their seats all have partitions, so the privacy is quite good. The boxes are all named after different emperors, and the decoration of the boxes is also very special! Well worth a return visit!

But I can’t really tell what the black skin tastes like🍍(ᐛ 🍍)
But the filling is super full!! The cream part doesn’t taste greasy~
The pearls are still very soft and tenderヽ(´▽`)/ I give this a high score!!
-
.*/Matcha Mochi $25
This is a limited flavor!! If you miss it, you don’t know when you can eat it again🤷♀️
The skin tastes pretty much the same..
The matcha is rich and the mochi is super chewy♡
The two go together just right, not too bitter or too sweet, very smooth
-
.*/Quexing Red Beans $20
Now the red bean cake is so beautiful and only costs $20
There are really few of them!!! This one is really Buddhist~
The red beans are also plump and solid, not too sweet, just right
-
Overall, this price is still so beautiful and delicious
It would be unreasonable not to eat some!!!
But you really have to queue up. There are so many people 🤜🫨🤛

【Hsinchu】Leofoo Village Zoo 🐅 Capture moments of animal life
"Leofoo Village Theme Park" is located in Guanxi Town, Hsinchu County, and "Leofoo Village Zoo" is one of the parks. It is the largest open wildlife park in Taiwan, with as many as 70 species and thousands of animals living here.
Here we can watch various wild animals at close range. Among them, the "herbivore area" where giraffes, antelopes, zebras and other herbivores are located requires a steam train tour; the "beast area" where Bengal tigers, African lions and Taiwanese black bears are located, you need to take a steam train tour. You need to take a sightseeing bus to visit. The park also has a special cage car (at your own expense, about NT$2,000 per person), which allows you to have closer face-to-face contact with these beasts.
When I saw different animals along the way, I also picked up the camera to capture some moments of animal life📷 Some of them were bored or sleeping lazily, some were playing together or in groups, and some would Walk up to the sightseeing car and say hello. It is really interesting to observe and record their ecology!
It is recommended that everyone spend half a day at Leofoo Village Zoo to observe the animal ecology when traveling to Taiwan. You can also visit other parks in Leofoo Village during the rest of the time.

【Hsinchu】Xingfu Station 💖 A special cultural and creative shop in Neiwan Old Street
I came across this shop by chance on Neiwan Old Street in Hsinchu. I was attracted by the inspirational quotes at the door of the shop. I went in to take a look and found that all the products had creative words on them (key chains, wooden pendants, postcards, etc.), which are very collectible!
Some are Taiwanese trendy and interesting:
👉 loser
👉 sleepless
👉 fight hard to win (the title of a Taiwanese song)
Some are encouraging and meaningful:
👉 "The bigger your heart is, the bigger your stage will be"
👉 "You can be busy for your dreams, but you can't forget your dreams because you're busy"
👉 "Completing small things is the first step to achieving big things"
I personally like this kind of encouraging sentences, some of which are more in line with my current state of mind, so they are particularly meaningful to me. I recommend that if you have the opportunity to come to Neiwan Old Street, you might as well take a look at this store. In addition to choosing your favorite words, you can also buy them as gifts for your friends as a blessing and encouragement to them.
In addition, this store also has some music-related cultural and creative products, including "Wooderful Life" brand music boxes and pendants in the shape of musical instruments, all of which are very finely and beautifully made.
Although this store is small, it has a wide selection of items, which will definitely overwhelm you. You may even linger there because of the difficulty in making choices!

[Hsinchu/Beipu] Hunan Jiujiu braised food🦆|Must-eat braised food in Beipu Old Street, super tasty, super spicy, very delicious💕
This hotel has two stations. In my impression, 2pm is a watershed moment.
Before 2 o'clock, it will be at No. 28 Beipu Street. After 2 o'clock, it will be on the road to Yi Ke Bao.
If you want to eat and see, you have to look for it yourself~
(Irresponsible sharing hahahahahahahahahahahahaha)(´∇`)ノ
-
.*/A big pack of braised food. I forgot how much it cost. It seems to be around 200.
Be sure to add spiciness. Their spiciness is spicy, very Hunan flavor!!!
Their braised food is blended and marinated with 32 kinds of spices - ̗̀𖤐
This time I ordered pig intestines, pig ears, dried tofu, tofu skin, sweet and spicy, and hundred pages of tofu.
You can order whatever you want. In the end, it’s really a big bag (◍¯∀¯◍)
Everything is really delicious!!
But this time I felt it was saltier than last time (´❛-❛`)
It would be better if it wasn't so salty~
Push pig intestines, tofu skin, sweet or spicy, hundred pages of tofu✌🏻
The pig hair on the pig ears was not cleaned very clean. What a pity...
(Some weighers can tell the boss directly how much they want to sell for)
-
Overall rating:
The first time I tried it, it was less salty and more spicy.
The second time it was too salty, the spicy taste was completely covered up.
There are quite a few 1-star reviews on Google Maps
But I personally think it’s pretty good and quite delicious!!!
About four stars~
I still recommend it to friends who like to try new things💕
(Although it is not cheap, I think the price is similar to that in Zhubei)
