Also you can receive an email alert to notify you once it’s ready if you wish. The view of the cafe (during Sakura season) was superb as it overlooked a road filled with Sakura. The food, pancakes and coffee. Another time we got here right after opening and was seated in a few minutes. Sakura strawberry pancakes and matcha were great. All hosts speak English. It's a beautiful cafe that has a location facing the river. It's got an open air space. That creates such a peaceful ambience. They have some nice rice burgers, pastries and good coffee. The atmosphere is relaxed and calm and they have some kind of terrace to stay fresh. You get a very warm welcome from all the employoees there and the food is delicious. If you want to enjoy this view the most, there is an Airbnb located right above the cafe. That helps kill two birds with one stone. The location is right by the river in old town where people walk by and lots of restaurants are. I visited them twice or thrice. Mostly during those lazy hours of the afternoon. When you are tired of walking or cycling and the heat gets to you. I tried their drinks, the iced coffee and their salted coffee. One time cycling with a friend we even had a breakfast here. Again the coffee was pretty satisfactory. I mean one rarely goes wrong with coffee in Vietnam. But the croissant or even the pancakes with mango that we had was about average. Every morning and evening during the peak hours, lots of people rushing to get to their destination without a glimpse of it. Regularly, neighbourhoods visit here for a day with their fishing rod or even a picnic at one of the rock beside the river. Truly an amazing river cruise which will forever bring fond memories to our family holiday! The boat was made comfortable and lots of snacks and drinks on board. 👍🏻 The captain of the boat spoke good English and gave us a great tour of Kuantan river. He also has a quick eye for wildlife in the area so we get to see them as well. 👀 Additionally, we also went crocodile hunting and saw a couple who were ‘napping’. You have to do this when you're in Melaka!! I would recommend taking the night cruise as they surrounding building , bridges etc. are all colorfully lighted up and you have a better experience strolling down the river. You can also see (and wave) to the people strolling by the riverside or having their drinks/meal at the many outlets along the river. There are few locations in town to take the river cruise, however if you're driving i would advice taking it from Taman Rempah jetty.
