A Glimpse of an Ancient Village in Turpan 🇨🇳
#traveldiaries
What is interesting about going to the Ancient Jiaohe City Ruins is that they have created a replica of what the ruins used to look like. It is very fascinating to see the lives of the ancient people living in Jaiohe. The entire village depicts their daily lives like the money , jewelry and the clothing they used. It also displays their livelihood like the process of drying the grapes and turning them into raisins.
It is really a brilliant idea to show this village replica first before heading to the ruins.
Make sure to but the All inclusive tickets that includes the Ancient village.
Ticket price: around 150 which includes the ruins, ancient village and the shuttle bus.
Enjoy!
Tip: if you’re a foreign traveler I suggest that you join a tour group or you rent a car with a driver that would drive you to these scenic spots. Car rental ranges from 200-600 a day depending on the distance and the number of scenic spots that you are visiting . Usually your hostel or hotel will recommend you trusted agents or cars..

📌”The Erechtheion" or Temple of Athena Polias
📍Address: Acropolis of Athens, Athens 105 58, Greece
Erechtheion is an ancient Greek temple located on the north side of the Acropolis of Athens. It is one of the most significant and distinctive buildings on the Acropolis and is renowned for its architectural elegance and historical significance. The temple was dedicated to Athena Polias, Poseidon, and Erechtheus, a legendary Athenian king. This porch is supported by six female figures, known as Caryatids, instead of traditional columns. Banteay Srei Temple The Woman Citadel
#2024wish
I just have a trip to visit the Banteay Srei Temple that located in Siem Reap Province 🇰🇭. It is beautiful view and the ancient temple of Cambodia. It make me feel very excited to see the wonderful art and construction.🏰
The 10th-century temple of Banteay Srei stands out among the Angkorian temples due to its distinctive features and historical significance. Unlike the other temples in the Angkor complex, Banteay Srei was not built by a monarch but rather by a courtier named Yajnavaraha, who was renowned for his scholarly and philanthropic contributions. The temple's name, ""Citadel of Women,"" reflects its dedication to the Hindu god Shiva.
Constructed using red sandstone, Banteay Srei showcases intricate craftsmanship and attention to detail. One of its remarkable characteristics is the use of miniature elements, which sets it apart from the larger temples in the region. Visitors are captivated by the exquisite shapes and depictions that adorn almost every surface of the temple. These include fearsome monsters, multi-armed protectors, goddesses, and even false doors. The level of skill and precision in the temple's ornamental technique has earned it widespread acclaim, with every visitor marveling at its near-perfection. Banteay Srei truly stands as a testament to the artistic mastery of its time.
Cambodia is a destination that adds significance and creates unforgettable memories for travelers. When I plan my trip in 2024, revisiting this place is a must. #banteaysreitemple #historicallandmarks #mytravelhacks #localguides #ancientlandmark #ancienttemples
Jerash City - a discovery to Roman history
We ended our trip in Egypt and flew right into Amman, and straight off from the plane we were driven to Jerash city, where we had a full on excursion around the ancient city.
We were amazed by how the history of ancient nations intertwined when we saw historical architecture that were similar to the ones we saw in Rome, and how thriving it must have been back in the days dated back to thousands of years ago.
It was a well worthy day trip and we have learned so much, basically a walking history book. If you happen to be in Amman and have some free time, I’d definitely recommend paying this city a visit since it’s only an hour away from the capital. #Jerash #jordan #archaeology #Romanhistory #ancientlandmark #unesco
Gansu's Mati Grottoes: Ancient Wonders
⛪️ Mati Temple Grottoes, located in Gansu, China, is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in history and culture. As someone who loves exploring ancient sites, I found this complex of caves and temples to be absolutely stunning. The intricate carvings and sculptures inside the grottoes are a testament to the incredible skill and artistry of the people who created them so many centuries ago.
🤩 One of the highlights of my visit to Mati Temple Grottoes was the opportunity to witness firsthand the incredible walks inside the rocks of these ancient structures. The attention to detail and dedication of the original artists is truly remarkable, and it's heartening to know that these cultural treasures are being preserved for future generations to enjoy.
We stayed at a local hotel nearby, which was really nice to wake up and just walk to the temple. There are plenty of beautiful surrounding walk, and I would highly recommend going and walking up the many steps to the viewing platform opposite the stupas! Winner views!!!
⛰️ Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Mati Temple Grottoes for anyone traveling to Gansu. The combination of history, culture, and stunning natural beauty makes for a truly unforgettable experience.

Gorgeous 12th century bridge
When visiting the old Town of Chaozhou is a good idea to be at this old bridge during sunset because in my opinion is when it looks the prettiest
There is a small fee to get into the bridge and see the boats closer, the interesting thing is that the bridge isn't compete by itself but made up by the smaller boats that arrived there, a very innovative way to collect the goods from other towns.
Which is your favorite picture?

Ancient Island (Gulangyu)
Gulangyu Island is full of ancient buildings and beaches. The food street is the best place to have a taste of the Gulangyu food. This Island is worth spending days to have a good experience of ancient culture.
The island is either big or small for tourists to go around but it will take at least 6 hours to walk around. FYI, there are no bike or taxi, so tourist need to explore the island on foot. The only thing that is done on this island is to test your walking endurance ”your ability to walk for hours 😓😓”. Based on data from my phone pedometer, I walked more than 18,820 steps from 3 pm to 7 pm. I will suggest going on this adventure with a couple of friends. #mytripvlog #awesomepic #walkingaround #joggingarea #tripblazers #bucketlistreboot #mytripvlog #beachlife #tripblazers #ancientlandmark

The Great Wall of China 🏯🇨🇳
When we speak about The Great Wall of China. We don't only speak about stones and history. This place served as a vital military strategic point from ancient times. This is not just an ordinary place, this is officially one of the seven wonders of the world. What I can say about this place when others already said it? Stunning, breathtaking views from every angle where you can enjoy spectacular nature.
This place gives that amazing real ancient culture vibe and when you walk here you have a feeling that you are an important part of ancient Chinese history. I visited a section called Mutianyu Great Wall which is one of the most famous sections for tourists to visit. What is interesting facts about this place is that woods cover over 96% percent of the total scenic area.
To come to this Mutianyu section, the best way is a car and it will take you an hour and a half from the city center. To experience this place in the right way, I recommend that you should stay the whole day, ideally to get there in the early hours of the morning so that you have more time for enjoying, hiking and sightseeing.
To get up on the wall, you can use two ways, stairs that are the hard way or gondolas that are chilly because you can enjoy the most beautiful landscape. Also, when you need to climb down you can use the stairs again or you can go with slides down which is more fun. Sightings and hiking are the main activities, taking photos and checking out many watchtowers on the road.
Even if you are solo travel you don't need to worry, you can meet likable people there and hear some cool stories. When you come to Beijing, you can't miss this legendary place, and when you visited you will have the desire to come back again. 👀🏃✌️

Interesting people I see during my travels ✈️
whenever I visit a new location one thing I like to do is to take out my camera and do some streets photography. And during this time I don’t only take pictures of the streets, the buildings, the lights, or the surroundings, I also take lots of pictures of the people because it’s important to capture how it feels to live in the moment of the pictures. there are usually a lot of more people on this particular road but on this day there were a lot fewer because of the weather. Despite that fact I was still able to capture so many interesting people doing interesting things. You’re going to see so many photographers so many models or some people who just want a nice relaxing walk down this road.#suzhou #suzhoulandmark #urbanexplorer #ancientlandmark #awesomepic

Underrated Food & Drinks hub
Don't overlook the food and beverage scene in Nantou. Entering the ancient city, you might think that it will be all old inside it including the food restaurants or food choices. Think twice. I've seen modern architecture designed restaurants and a zillion coffee shops inside.
Its like old meets new. East meets West.
No big brand names, mostly are owned by the residents inside the walled city.
There are countless Cantonese snacks like rice noodles, chinese pastries, sweet potato chips, etc... Western food are present in the scene too such as burgers and fries,..
Coffee shops are the kings of the walled city. I lost count counting them.
There will be something to eat for everyones's preference. 😍😍😍
