Shenzhen Mosque, Meilin

This large mosque is located in Meilin area of Futian district, Shenzhen. It is very close to Maling subway station. This is the largest mosque in Shenzhen and one of the newest large mosques to be built in all of China. The building consists of a large minaret and a facade made of islamic symbols, the other side of the building has a large green dome. The interior of the mosque includes a main prayer hall, mens and womens water room, interior garden with two mosaic minarets and many more. This is an active practicing Sunni Islam mosque for local muslims, it observes all the regular Islam festivals and religious rites and meetings such as the five daily prayers. Wat Rong Kuhn - White Temple, Thailand

If you are going to visit Chiang Rai, Thailand your first stop should be here at Wat Rong Khun (most known as a White Temple). This temple have very interesting and long story. Before this temple was not so beautiful as now, 30 years ago one of very famous Thailand artists start to renovate it, using his assets and as he promised to him self, he will not finish renovating until he pass away. So this temple looks now like a palace. unfortunately you can not take photos inside the temple and you have to pay 100 THB for entrance. #templeblessed

Wenshu Monastery 文殊院, Chengdu 成都

📌 Take line 1 to the Wenshu Monastery stop, Exit K, keep walking on that side of the street for about 200m till you see the gate. 🏯 Attractions - The monastery is very peaceful and walking around won't take too long. The surrounding trees also brings peace to the experience. There are also many small markets around which you can look at and buy a souvenir or two. 🥢 This is the main reason why I come back to this area. They have the famous "sweet water noodles" (甜水面) which are very cheap (10-15RMB). It is always very crowded, so expect to have to take it outside to eat. White pagoda in the center of the Capital

This was not the famous white pagoda in Beihai lake, it's the white pagoda in the Miaoying temple (very close to Beihai temple). A brief stop during a weekend stroll in downtown. We didn't go in the temple but just walked around a bit. The red wall were a beautiful contrast with the with pagoda inside. The Imperial Mansion, Beijing

We, together with our son's family (with 3 young children) stayed in mid April. On arrival, in order to put us on the same floor, the manager upgraded both of our apartments to an executive apartment and a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartments are very spacious and clean. The furnishing is of good quality. Very functional and pleasing. Both have a full kitchen with a good size fridge/freezer, coffee machine, cook top and even a rice cooker. A washing machine came in handy for the travelers. The bathroom in both apartments was huge. It has a separate shower and separate toilet. Our grandchildren found it amazing to find a hidden television in the bathroom. Watching TV while having a bath. (Try and see if you can find the hidden television!) All the staff were polite and professional. The reception staff speak adequate English to be helpful. The location was really good. 5 minutes walk to the Wangfujing pedestrian precinct and to subway. There are many eateries (all price range) just within 10 minutes walking radius. It is so close to the food street where stalls sell all kinds of food, from potato chips on a stick to fried scorpions. Most visitors would make just one trip there, but since we were so close, the grandchildren went there 3 times, just to absorb the atmosphere. Forbidden City is an easy 20 minutes walk ( can be quicker, if you do not have to dodge between other tourists and cars). Since it is so close, we got up early in the morning, strolled down to Tiananmen square before other tourists made it there. There is only one restaurant in the hotel, serving breakfast and hotpot dinner. That is adequate, as there are many eateries close by. Breakfast had a good mix of Chinese and Western choices. Everyday, a few items would be changed from previous day's selection.
