Sri Lanka: a paradise rich in nature
Sri Lanka can be traveled to by direct flight from Japan or in combination with India.
If you are from South India, you can get there for about 10,000 yen one way.
The town of Ella is very famous, but it is a small and convenient rural town and the town itself is comfortable.
There are mountains where you can trek and you can relax in the greenery.
Wellawaya is a birdwatching paradise. You can see colorful birds everywhere, and the bat tree where tens of millions of fruit bats perch is a masterpiece.
If you love animals and nature, it's a place you should visit in combination with Yala.
Everyone's Uwanatuna Talpe If you hit the right spot, you'll find beaches that are more beautiful than you can imagine.
There are beaches that look a lot like the beaches of Seychelles in Africa, and there's beach fashion apparel that's so cute I want to buy it and start selling it online, so it's a recommended area for beach lovers.
Maybe because there are a lot of mountains, public transportation sometimes has to take a little detour or the route isn't great, but traveling by train in Sri Lanka is a part of traveling in Sri Lanka.
It's also fun to travel on a packed local bus.
There's no particular problem with transportation, the hurdles to traveling are not high, and Sri Lanka is a safe place to travel, so I've traveled to 90 countries and I think it's my favorite place in Asia☺︎♡

[Sri Lanka] Spectacular views! World Heritage Site Sigiriya Rock
📍 Sigiriya, Sri Lanka
The most famous of the World Heritage Sites registered in Sri Lanka, it is a place that can be said to be a symbol of Sri Lanka💛
In the late 5th century, King Kassapa I built a palace on the top of a towering 180m-high granite rock over a period of seven years, and the city was built around this palace, and Sigiriya became the royal capital for 10 and a half years🫅
After crossing the moat, Sigiriya Rock is right in front of you🪨
The entrance and exit to Sigiriya Rock are different, so you can only take photos here when you are climbing!
(2nd and 3rd photos)
You have to climb 1,200 steps to reach the top of the rock⛰️
It takes about 20 minutes, so don't forget to stay hydrated.
We recommend that you wear comfortable shoes and clothes that are easy to move in! 👟
The sense of accomplishment after climbing all the way up the cave was incredible,
and I felt like I finally made it! 💛👏😭
I also encountered wild monkeys on the way 🐵
Maybe they stole someone's banana?
The summit offers a 360-degree panoramic view!!
A magnificent view overlooking the jungle 🥹💘
The palace is said to have been about 1.5 hectares in size and consisted of three parts: the lower palace, the upper palace, and the palace gardens ❣️
I wanted to see the sunset,
but I arrived at the top a little late and there were clouds,
so I could only see the sunset at the end, which was disappointing. lol
It gets dark quickly in the evening, and there are no lights on Sigiriya Rock, so please come down early
(We almost got lost when it got pitch black lol)
It's hot during the day, so I recommend going early in the morning or in the evening ⛰️
Add some excitement to your daily life: 🌙

A clean and tidy guesthouse, Sixth Sense Hostel🛏️🇱🇰
Sixth Sense Hostel is located about 30 minutes by bus from the center of Gall, Sri Lanka.
The warm atmosphere of a guesthouse and the location surrounded by nature make it popular with backpackers.
The clean room has a fresh citrus scent. There is also a spacious kitchen where guests can interact, so it is recommended for those who are new to guesthouses.
Just step out of the guesthouse and you will find palm trees growing everywhere, and you can take a tuk-tuk to the beach right away. (You can call a tuk-tuk with the app Pick me.)
[Best season]
January to February (dry season)
[Access]

[Sri Lanka] Mysterious World Heritage Site, Sigiriya♡
Speaking of Sri Lanka, it's Sigiriya! The most popular World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka is Sigiriya Rock✨
From afar, a huge rock suddenly appears in the jungle, but when you look up close, you'll be overwhelmed by its size and take your breath away🥹
The mysterious World Heritage Site Sigiriya Rock is a monolith that has 1,200 steps and is 200 meters above the ground.
It is said to have been formed by the solidification of lava that erupted long ago, and is characterized by its steep cliffs and rectangular shape.
At the top, the ruins of the royal palace remain, and there is a pond called the King's Pool and many stairs, so you can feel like you've wandered into the world of Dragon Quest🤭
And from the top, you can see the endless jungle, which is simply a spectacular view! ! ! !
There are a lot of people during the day and it's quite hot to climb, so I recommend going in the evening.
[Access]
Sigiriya Rock is located in the center of Sri Lanka, about 4.5 hours by car from Colombo, about 2.5 hours from Kandy, the holy city of Buddhism, and about 30 minutes from Dambulla, famous for its Golden Temple, a World Heritage Site.
You can get there by bus from Colombo, but it takes a long time, so in Sri Lanka it is common to charter a car and go sightseeing.
[Admission fee] $36

The Terrifying Scenic Tower in Sri Lanka! Is it the Real-Life Dragon Ball's Karin Tower?!
The Ambuluwawa Tower, often referred to as the Karin Tower from Dragon Ball, is located south of Kandy, in the outskirts of Gampola, Sri Lanka.
Standing at an altitude of 1,000 meters, this 111-meter tall white tower, inspired by a Buddhist stupa, offers a thrilling climb to the top!
The lower half of the tower is cylindrical, and you ascend via internal stairs. However, midway through, you step outside to climb a spiral staircase that wraps around the spire.
As you ascend, the stairs become increasingly narrow, making it difficult to pass others!
It's an exciting spot where you can enjoy a thrilling view♡
【Hours】7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
【Access】Since it's located on a mountain and difficult to reach by train or bus, it's recommended to charter a car.
【Entrance Fee】2000 LKR
The chaotic atmosphere of Gangaramaya Temple
This temple is located near Beira Lake, where Gangaramaya Park is located.
Take off your shoes and pay the 400 rupee entrance fee to enter.
There are exhibitions inside, but the atmosphere is chaotic, with various items on display with no clear theme.
It also has a bit of a junk market feel to it.
Recommended for those who like the chaos of Asian temples.
Of course, there are temple-like attractions, such as an area lined with Buddha statues and a golden tower.

98acres RESORT and SPA in Ella, Sri Lanka
The electricity changes easily in the mountains, so even if it seems sunny, it can quickly become cloudy. However, the air outside is very fresh and I woke up to the birds singing in the morning.
The breakfast was also very luxurious and everything was delicious.
A short walk away there is a swing and a pool, so it's a lot of fun!

Sri Lanka !!!!🇱🇰
I went to Sri Lanka for 8 hours with a layover on my way to Europe!!
I arrived at Bandaranaike Airport at night and flew to Europe on a late-night flight🛩
It was night and it was my first time in Sri Lanka, so I was a little scared to go out into the city, but I didn't come to Sri Lanka very often, so I did a little sightseeing in the city🛵
Prices are cheap, people are generally kind, next time I'd like to stay for a few days♪
