I had a breathtaking experience flying in a hot air balloon in Vang Vieng. The views were absolutely magical, with the lush mountains, rice fields, mist and cloud surrounding us. The area is characterized by black fences, old houses, tranquility, and old town rickshaws. 🌸 But during the spring season, in April of every year, this village alley will be filled with sweet pastel pink from more than 100 weeping cherry blossoms "Shidarezakura" that have been planted in houses and along the roads. It has been around since the Edo period (1603-1868). This type of cherry blossom is beautiful and special from the hanging flower clusters that look like strange willows. The color of the flowers is pink to dark pink, beautiful and rare in Japan. 🍃 Kakunodate usually has 2 beautiful cherry blossom viewing spots: the samurai village alley and the Hinokinai River, which is nearby. With the village, you can walk to see the beauty of the cherry blossoms of the "yoshino" variety, light pink and white, along the river. 😉 It is a very romantic experience to see cherry blossoms in another place in Japan. 🚄 Travel: Take the Shinkansen, the final station is AKITA, but get off at Kakunodate Station. "Pha Cho" is located in Mae Wang National Park, Doi Lo District, Chiang Mai Province. It looks like a 30-meter high earthen wall. YOMARO is a German Frozen Yogurt store that opened its first branch in 2012 and has since expanded to a total of 19 branches nationwide, with indications of more to come. The idea of eating Frozen Yogurt came from Asia, hence the store's name has a Japanese ring to it. The branch we visited is in Würzburg. The ordering system is just like our local Frozen Yogurt shops, with the store's own yogurt as the base and a variety of toppings to choose and mix & match at the counter. Here are the 2 cups we chose: 🍨Frozen Yogurt + Watermelon The yogurt here is smooth, fragrant, and delicious. The topping is fresh, sweet, ripe watermelon cubes drizzled with sauce. It's refreshing and perfect for a hot day. 🍨 Frozen Yogurt + Candied Cherries + Chocolate Sauce Cherries and chocolate sauce are a perfect match, reminiscent of a black forest cake. Paired with frozen yogurt, it's incredibly satisfying. I liked it even more than the first cup.

#dreamdestination Nostalgia, located in Hasselt, eastern Belgium, is a restaurant specializing in Greek food. This meal started with free bread served with yogurt dip and pickled olives. The main course was the Mixed Grill, which was grilled to perfection. The meat was tender and had a wonderful grilled aroma. The Chicken Souvlaki was also well done. Unfortunately, the lamb was a bit rawer than I would have liked. The meat was still red and soggy. If I had ordered it, I would have asked for it medium well.

The highlight that you must not miss when you come here is the Altar of the Holy Blood, which was made in 1505. It is an intricately carved wooden work depicting The Last Supper or the last meal of Jesus. Another point worth seeing is the 700-year-old stained glass window on the east side of the church. Apero Fish Palace is one of the restaurants near the fish market and is only about 500 meters from Central Station, about a 15-minute walk. The restaurant is located on Nieuwstraat, right next to the VINCI Parking Mijnplein parking lot. So if you rent a car, you don't have to worry about parking. It's very convenient. This restaurant is a Bistro with a casual atmosphere. There are about 2-3 outdoor tables outside. The inside of the restaurant is more spacious. In front, there is a huge refrigerator that looks like it was brought from the fish market. It clearly shows the freshness of the ingredients. There is also a tank of lobsters in the back.
