For less than RM200/night, suitable for couples, this heritage hotel is strategically located within walking distance from Komtar Penang and other attractions in Georgetown. Nothing too fancy, but all the necessities I need were there; like air-cond, water heater, TV, fridge, kettle and water dispenser. 👟 No shoes allowed to be worn in the hotel to keep the floor clean. There is a shoe locker at the lobby, or you can carry your shoes to the room instead. 🅿️ Just one thing I hope can be better is the parking. No free parking. Normal street parking is available but limited near the hotel. 📢 If you happen to stay here, do not miss the coffee at the coffeeshop ☕ opposite which is actually a stall manned by an uncle. Throwback to the Penang Trip! It was awesome discovering another part of the city which I can say more like fishermen village. Very unique place to go into, can be said as tourist site but nothing much to do. If you can find someone to talk with like one of the fishermen who can explain the living situation and how to catch fishes then it will be better. People here can speak hokkien and bahasa malaysia but more like Indonesia as influenced by the people from that country. To get there can be by public or online taxi. Last month went to this park by public transport. A pretty cool park to go for a jog in the midst of Kuala Lumpur concrete jungle. The ambience with luscious trees and good landscape makes it a pretty nice spot to chill in the city. There are tons of people around here. There are already Christmas tree structure installed at the outside entrance of Suria KLCC near the park. That's when you know Christmas is coming! I came here during late afternoon and, the Musical Fountain at the park is not turned on. But nevertheless there are still a lot of people around the staggered steps seating near the Musical Fountain water feature. It's a very decent park where you get to see the twin towers in all its glory. The park itself is well-maintained and has a path for running/jogging. Though you can't expect to get great serenity here due to the construction and whatnot going on around the park, it's still a contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city. #tourismmalaysia

One of the most beautiful beaches on Langkawi island; personally it's my favorite beach from the island. I made the photos when a little storm was approaching and the beach was also beautiful. In the evening there are a few fire shows on the beach that I also recommend. Revisiting Taiping Zoo after so long, after more than 10 years ago. It's a lot nicer now. No wild monkeys would chased you down 🤣 The zoo looks more appealing now with cleaner paths and less eerily forest on both sides of the paths. Although there's more buildings now greenery still consumed most of the space. Toilets should be maintained more though. Here is a throwback to my wonderful stay at @oakwoodkualalumpur, in their 1 Bedroom Premier. ✌️ The room comes with a living room, fully equipped kitchen and a separate bedroom. The bathroom comes with a bathtub. It is is spacious and modern in design. There are 2 TVs and a comfy king-size bed. The breakfast was also amazing too. The swimming pool is clean, and the depth is up to 1.5m with a jacuzzi on the side.
