A sacred place of Chiang Mai, 'Kruba Srivichai'
#VisitChiangMai The monument of “Kruba Srivichai” is an auspicious place of Chiang Mai that I would like to recommend tourists who visit Chiang Mai to stop by to pay homage and ask for blessings. Or if anyone has a spiritual side, I recommend it. Whether it's asking for a blessing or making a vow by offering boiled eggs, many people have visited here and have had their wishes come true. Paying homage or asking for blessings is not difficult and you don't have to prepare anything complicated. Because in front of the monument, there are flowers, incense sticks, and candles for sale, starting at 20 baht. You can make an offering and there will be instructions on how to do it.
You can come to pay homage every day and at any time, 24 hours a day. The monument of “Kruba Srivichai” is located on the way up to Doi Suthep. (I would like to recommend a tip for tourists who want to try asking for a blessing on a boiled egg. Try to come every evening or early Saturday night. From what I've seen in the reviews, it is considered a good time to ask for blessings.)

"The Royal Seal Shrine" was built since the reign of King Rama V. It is rumored that anyone who wants to take the civil service exam, get promoted, or get rid of bad luck and change their fate must come here. Don't Miss Out for Amulet Enthusiasts: Amulet Tour EP.1
Making merit by paying homage to the Uppakut Buddha to ask for blessings of wealth and fortune is said to be very powerful. According to legend, the Uppakut Buddha had the power to defeat the demon king, Taw Swattee, during the late 2nd Buddhist century after the Buddha's parinirvana. At that time, King Ashoka, who was deeply devoted to Buddhism, celebrated the consecration of all the stupas he had built over a period of 7 years, 7 months, and 7 days. However, he was later challenged by Mara, the evil one. King Ashoka then summoned the Uppakut Buddha to defeat Mara, who eventually conceded defeat. Since then, the Uppakut Buddha has been renowned for subduing demons.
The ritual begins with making merit and paying homage to the Buddha in the chapel, where the temple provides large red candles to light outside before entering to bow to the Buddha and place flowers inside the chapel. After that, the process of worshipping the Uppakut Buddha in the Tripitaka Hall begins with ringing the entrance bell, chanting prayers, paying respects, and then ringing the exit bell. The temple provides clear instructions for these steps.
Anyone who worships or believes in the Uppakut Buddha should not miss visiting Chiang Mai and asking for blessings at Wat Uppakut. This temple is renowned and very ancient, and its wall murals are exquisitely rare and beautiful. If you have time, stop by to visit, pay homage, and admire the beauty.

Climbed up to Tham Nakha when I was in my thirties~
Many people have heard about Tham Nakha for a long time. I am one of them who has heard the wonderful story. So, I had a spiritual trip when I was almost 30.
Our journey started at Don Mueang Airport. We took a plane to Udon Thani Airport and drove a rental car from Udon Thani to Bueng Kan. There are many types of accommodations around Tham Nakha. We chose to stay at Baan Singkhapha, which is about 20 minutes from the way to Tham Nakha.
After getting some rest and energy, the next morning, we prepared to climb the mountain.
Opening hours: Tham Nakha Park is open for tourists from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. We recommend arriving early in the morning so that it is not too hot.
Environment/Facilities: There are guides to take you up and recommend various spots. If you are lucky enough to get a spiritual guide, the guide will also lead you in chanting. However, we recommend booking a queue to climb the mountain during the holidays.
There are not many bathrooms in the cave. We recommend using the bathroom before going up.
Average price per person: The guide fee is 500 baht per group. You can also tip the guide. But if you include the airfare + car rental + fuel + accommodation, it's around 3-4 thousand baht because my friends and I got plane tickets to Udon for 2 thousand baht 😂
From now on, this is my personal opinion.
The Naga Cave trip is a trip that we were very impressed with. The kindness of the people who went up the mountain, everyone had the same goal, which was to go up and pay homage to the Naga King. But from another perspective, we saw many amazing things. One thing that we got back and is still with us is the good energy, the nature that we can't find in the city.
