superb food
The food and coffee here is absolutely amazing. We ordered the corn fritters with came with a generous heap of avo smash. The brioche French toast was decadent and just sweet enough. While the fish tacos were also lovely.
Its all very good food with outstanding flavours and generous portions. However, this cafe is very popular and the wait can take a while. Too noisy to sit indoors with the blasting music, we definitely loved our spot right outside the cafe.

nice cafe
I was looking for a place i could work for a few hours. So, decides to come here and found a comfy nook table with a powerpoint, making it an ideal remote workspace for the day. They have QR codes on the tables, so you can order and pay conveniently without human interaction if you wish.
I started with a coffee which arrived promptly and during the day I sampled both coffee blends on offer. After my first coffee, my colleague arrived for a meeting and we ordered some breakfast. I went with the mushrooms on toast with avocado and feta.

Roys Peak
#newzealandtrip I recently completed one of New Zealand's most iconic hikes—Roys Peak, and it was an experience I won't forget. The trail starts from the Roys Peak Track car park near Lake Wanaka, and immediately you’re greeted with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and lake. The hike itself is challenging, with a steep ascent over a 5 to 6-hour journey, but the reward at the top is absolutely worth it.
The track zigzags its way up the mountain, offering breathtaking vistas of Lake Wanaka, Mount Aspiring, and the Southern Alps. As I made my way to the summit, the anticipation built, knowing the panoramic views would be unparalleled. At the top, I was surrounded by a 360-degree view of snow-capped peaks, valleys, and lakes that looked like something out of a dream.
Egmont - New Plymoith
#newzealandtrip My recent trip to Egmont (also known as Mount Taranaki) was an unforgettable adventure. Located on the west coast of New Zealand’s North Island, this region offers some of the country’s most stunning natural landscapes, with the towering, symmetrical cone of Mount Taranaki as the centerpiece.
I started my visit by exploring the Egmont National Park. The drive into the park was picturesque, with dense forests and winding roads leading to stunning views of the mountain. I hiked the popular Pouakai Circuit, which took me through lush rainforests, past cascading waterfalls, and up to viewpoints with breathtaking panoramas of Mount Taranaki reflecting in the nearby tarns. The track was moderately challenging, but the scenery made every step worth it.
Visit Lake Tekapo
#newzealandtrip My recent trip to Tekapo was nothing short of magical. Located in the heart of the South Island, Tekapo is famous for its stunning turquoise lake, starry skies, and surrounding mountains. I arrived and was immediately awed by the beauty of Lake Tekapo. The vibrant color of the water, caused by glacial flour, was unlike anything I'd ever seen, and I spent hours simply walking along the lake's edge, soaking in the views.
A highlight of the trip was visiting the Church of the Good Shepherd, a small stone church perched by the lake. Its picturesque setting, with the mountains in the background and the lake in the foreground, felt like something straight out of a postcard. I also took the opportunity to stargaze at the nearby Mount John Observatory. Tekapo is part of a UNESCO Dark Sky Reserve, and the night sky was truly breathtaking, filled with countless stars and constellations.
Trip to Wanaka
#newzealandtrip I recently had the chance to visit Wanaka, and it exceeded all my expectations. Nestled in New Zealand’s Southern Alps, this charming town is a perfect blend of adventure and natural beauty. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning views of Lake Wanaka, framed by snow-capped mountains. I couldn’t resist a walk along the lakefront, snapping pictures of the famous “That Wanaka Tree” standing alone in the water.
For adventure, I hiked the Rob Roy Glacier Track, which was challenging yet incredibly rewarding. The trail led me through lush forests, past waterfalls, and up to the glacier, offering panoramic views that made every step worth it. Whether you’re into hiking, biking, or just exploring the scenery, Wanaka has it all.
Nature’s Symphony: From Lake Wanaka to Lake Hawea
#newzealandtrip
Exploring the beautiful nature surrounding Lake Wanaka to Lake Hawea was a truly enchanting experience. The journey through the forests was like stepping into a serene paradise, where the sounds of bird songs filled the air and the gentle rustling of leaves created a soothing backdrop. The wind blowing through the trees added a refreshing touch, making the walk even more enjoyable.
The highlight of the experience was the melody of waterfalls cascading down the rocks, creating a harmonious symphony with the natural surroundings. The pristine lakes, with their crystal-clear waters, reflected the stunning landscapes, adding to the overall beauty of the area.
This walk offered a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, allowing me to connect with nature in a profound way. The tranquility and beauty of the surroundings left a lasting impression, making it a must-visit destination for nature lovers.
nice local cafe
This is a lovely cafe with great coffee, where one can also get some small stuff to eat. I got an info card with my pour over, which was nice. Overall a sweet place with great coffee and helpful baristas. The small, but intimate, interior is perfect low conversations, or for the extroverts, engaging the other patrons in lively chats. Try the cakes and slices, perfect with your cuppa. Parking is on-street, and there’s a short walk up the drive.

nice food
I ordered the T-Rex brekkie (half) - that was absolutely delicious. Although I ordered half, it just perfect for me. I also had a cup of hot chocolate that I enjoyed as well. Nicely presented and terrific flavours.
I heard the Chilli Eggs were good too! Good coffee and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic and so much of it! The service was great. Overall the best bottomless brunch I have ever been to. Will definitely be returning!

nice coffee
This is a perfect hidden cafe. The best truffle mushrooms breakfast I have ever had, and the big breakfast will keep you going for the whole day. A quaint little garden area.
Service was impeccable, very attentive and welcoming. Food, service and atmosphere - perfect. Thank you, i will be visiting again should we be in this area. The price is reasonable and overall i think it is a good value spot.

delcious food
We stopped by today for brunch. The staff were so helpful, I don’t eat pork and they substituted fried chicken for the sausages on their breakfast. It was absolutely unbelievable! Those mushrooms are amazing.
There were books and colouring books to keep my son entertained, lots of yummy sweet treats AND it’s dog friendly outside. I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!

An Unforgettable Adventure in Hobbiton!
#newzealandtrip
Visiting Hobbiton in New Zealand was an absolute highlight of my trip! As soon as I stepped into the Shire, I felt like I was transported into Middle-earth.
The hobbit holes, the Party Tree, and the Green Dragon Inn were all so intricately designed and detailed. Our guide was fantastic, sharing stories about the making of the Lord of the Rings movies and pointing out hidden gems throughout the tour.
The scenery was stunning, with rolling hills and sparkling lakes. I felt like a kid again, exploring the magical world of Hobbiton. If you're a fan of J.R.R. Tolkien or just love adventure, this is a must-visit destination!
spacious cafe
It is way more than coffee. Infact has a proper kitchen with a very good sitting space. They have really good food and coffee, but sometimes they struggle with taking orders, and have got my order wrong multiple times. Maybe the staff were still being trained.
This one time, they brought the wrong size coffee and then had to pay for an extra coffee that I didn’t even order, however I did get a refund. I have also been told large coffee are single shot, but they’re generally double. Their cabinet food is good quality, fresh and delicious. I recommend the breakfast brioche bun. The coffee are always well made

nice food
This bustling café offers a delightful brunch experience that's worth braving the weather for.
The menu is a foodie's dream. I savored their black sesame salmon bagel with chive cream - a perfect blend of flavors that showcases Sarnies' knack for elevating classic dishes.
The addition of crispy tater tots was a comfort food bonus. My companion's Turkish egg breakfast, customized with hard-boiled eggs at their request, demonstrated the kitchen's flexibility and commitment to customer satisfaction.

lovely
The service was epic and the food was so tasty and yummy; presented beautifully. My salmon roulade was absolutely delicious and has to be one of my favourite meals I've eaten in a very very long time. I loved the decor and the outside area.
I very much enjoyed my beers and food and highly recommend Ironic for a cold Beer, wine, hot drink or something tasty To Eat from the Cabinets or from the menu.

brilliant food
Perfect for everything from a takeaway coffee and scroll to sitting down and knitting for a couple of hours! Fantastic music selection too. What a great place to grab a quick bite, or spend your time, fill up and get that report completed.
Amazing sandwiches, whether you’re a veggie or vegan. And comfortable and plenty of seating and nice decor. Coffees were well done. However it did take a while for our meals to come out and it wasn’t that busy. Staff are nice too and the cafe itself has a good vibe.

nice hangout
A great little cafe at the end of a lovely walk along St Clair Beach. Cafe is very very busy but with good reason, the service was great and the food was amazing. Had the long dog breakfast and my girlfriend had the vegan breakfast, both huge in quantity and quality.
Coffee was good too. Would recommend stopping by. The prices are pretty decent and the ambience too is quite nice. There is parking easily available. It's a comfortable place to hang out.

Great food
The service was great, maple latte and green juice was delicious, and the food was all around very good! It is first come first serve in seating so need to make sure you grab a spot. Vibes were good. It was nice and quiet at around 8.30am before all the tourists arrived.
The menu was excellent with poached eggs, sausages and bacon, cappuccino and a real long black with a side of hot water. Really great breakfast to start our day.

excellent food
The coffee is superb and the food is worthy of a Michelin Star imo. I've been there at least 10 times now and everything is immaculate and complex from coffee to flavours in the dishes. Opting for the Avo on toast with fried halloumi and the signature breakfast.
Accompanied by a couple of coffees, our status as food enthusiasts was affirmed by the delightful explosion of flavors and innovative approach to traditional breakfast fare. It's safe to say that this experience has set a new standard, as we both agreed that it was the best breakfast we've ever had.

best brekkie
Buster Greens ticked all the boxes for me. I normally only find 1 or 2 dishes on a breakfast menu that interests me but I could of chosen about 10 on this menu. Eventually I settled on the PB + Smashed Avo with all sorts of delicious tit bits - picked cabbage, almonds, whipped tahini, greens.
Service was prompt, very friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. We chose the stack, the crispy cauliflower salad (because who can resist halloumi) and scrambled egg on sour dough with bacon and hash. The flavours across all three dishes were to die for.

wonderful food
A very busy cafe with an amazing view of lake Wakatipu. Recommend booking a table as you will have to wait otherwise. The staff are friendly and professional. The coffee is great but the food is simply perfect.
This is one of an elite group of cafes that get the tick for their eggs Benedict. The eggs were soft poached, the muffins fluffy and toasted, the bacon grilled but not horribly crisp and a light delicate house made hollandaise. Great food done well served by friendly staff the busy nature of the cafe speaks volumes.

fabulous views
Food was really delicious with amazing view. You have a choice to sit indoor or outdoor. They prepared heaters and blankets for those who sit outdoors during the cold season. The food was yum but the view was the highlight.
I specifically requested seating on the deck which is a must if you’re going! The meals were really tasty and they do a great strawberry matcha. Super easy to get to on the bus so I’d really recommend.
