The best place to have tonkatsu at super friendly prices and this is Gochi-So Shokudo and there are many outlets in Singapore. I will always come here for a quick and satisfying lunch and always choose their promotional set. Currently they have a $9.90 value meal come with one piece of tonkatsu with side dishes and one rice and miso soup. If you eat at the outlets in Capitalmall, you can even earn extra perks too. When you exit and arrive at Changi Airport Terminal 4 arrival area, you will see this restaurant Ma Mum when you walk towards the shuttle buses waiting area. They sell local Singaporean food and it is a fuss-free place to fill your stomach after a long flight. I find their service is on the slow side and they seem like they don’t want to be there. Fresh tropical fruits, luscious yogurt parfaits, decadent pastries, and an array of homemade jams and preserves allowed you to indulge your cravings. It comprises a row of five adjacent buildings: a Tin Hau Temple, a Shing Wong Temple, a Kwun Yum temple, Shea Tan and Hsu Yuen. The nearby Temple Street is named after it. Yau Ma Tei is a community that was once on the harbour front. Although land reclamation means it's no longer on the shore, fishermen still flock here to worship the Goddess of the Sea, Tin Hau. The temple is now a Declared Monument. We found this temple during city walk and it’s really a hidden gem that’s not widely mentioned! After exploring the Langsuan area, an area which I never passby before. I find this small neighbourhood very interesting. There are many smaller cafe which are unique and also a Starbucks which has a private garden in a wooden house setting. You can try to locate Renaissance Hotel and then walk towards the nearby Mercury Ville. This is also happen to be the pickup point for Sindhorn Kempinski shuttle bus.
