New Plymouth City Garden under Little Mount Fuji Pukekura Park Fernery and Display Houses
On the trip to New Plymouth, in addition to Mt Taranaki "Little Mount Fuji", the most unforgettable thing is the four well-kept greenhouse gardens in Pukekura Park. It was opened to the public on January 28, 1928, and it has been nearly 100 years since then.
• Fernery and Display Houses not only has abundant ferns (2,340 ferns were planted in 1927 according to the official website data), but also phalaenopsis, large-flowered orchids, begonia, ornamental kale and chrysanthemums, etc. There are many varieties. There are also niche novelties, such as the dark phalaenopsis (and I saw the blooming of autumn begonia for the first time here, and most of the time in China, it is in a leaf-viewing state 2).
The construction of the whole Fernery and Display Houses comes from public fundraising, which is really meaningful and interesting. In 1934, the generous donation of Brookland Manor created the
abundance of plants here.
Giant 4 entrance fee: free
Address: Navigate directly to "Pukekura Park Fernery and Display Houses"
Opening hours: Monday to Sunday 8:30am - 4pm
(Wednesday 3pm
Off)
Although on this trip to New Plymouth, I only saw a small corner of the snow top of Mt Taranaki, it was really exciting to meet this place by accident-

One-day trip to Glastonbury, a mysterious town with two brushes of rice
I Chuang Today, this town is mysterious and legendary. It is located near Bristol. It is said that this is the place where King Arthur's bones were buried, and it is also the entrance to Avalon.
It is the country of elves as the heart wheel of the earth. If you travel here, you can see many believers praying devoutly.
Combined transportation: Bristol-376 bus arrives at Town Hall
The place to get off is in the center of the town. There are many small shops on both sides of the street, including Tarot studios, divination shops, crystal shops, and hippie clothing stores, all of which are related to metaphysics and divination. If you buy crystals, you have to go to the park to wash crystals to empower. There are several small parks in the town that can be washed.
Chalice well Holy Grail Well Garden, a relatively famous small park, student tickets are 3.5 fat, you can meditate, soak, etc.
Glastonbury Abbey is the site of the monastery and the burial of King Arthur's bones.
Land, very majestic and spectacular
Glastonbury Tor needs to climb the mountain, and the scenery after climbing to the top is very good (you can put it in the first step of the trip, climb the mountain in the morning, or in the afternoon, and then go back to the hotel to lie comfortably)

Where else can I go in Orlando besides the theme park? Where else can I go to Orlando besides Disney and Universal Studios?
It is recommended to go to the rock spring of Kelly Park in the suburbs or silver Springs to experience the natural scenery of Jurassic Park- The rock spring we went to can be seen.
Tbut there is no walrus (because it is shallow, you can go to silver spring to see walruses, of course, which is also seasonal)
#Water sports The method is to log in to the get up andgo kayaking official website, select the area Florida, and then the final picture selection and book directly. When you arrive at the destination of king's landing, just park the car outside the yard~ Remember to arrive half an hour in advance, and no one will wait for you if you are late.

The nearest train station is Hayward Heath, five miles away.
The station is on the way from Thameslink to Brighton.
London is about an hour one way. Blackfriars London Bridge and St Pancras can be reached directly.
Blackfriars departs for reference weekend round-trip

The park is National Trust. It is appropriate for nonmembers to walk slowly for about 3 hours for 15 fat people. The key is that the autumn leaves are in full swing now!

Nice little piece of green heaven in the middle of a well-known shopping district. While it is not good for picnics, it is a good place to clear the clutter up in your mind by walking among the kept lush. There are seats if you fancy eating lunch there. Love with the National Zoological Gardens of South Africa
I always feel that zoos are for people who are in love to see wild animals. It is a compulsory course for people who come to Africa.
After only two weeks in South Africa, I went to Port Elizabeth. Unfortunately, I didn't book Ado Elephant Park, but I also experienced a private manor adventure that was almost served as a lion for lunch. Thinking about coming to Japan, there were many opportunities to go in the future, so l didn't take it seriously. Because of all kinds of busy work, there was no
If you can't see wild animals, then go to the zoo. It's also 100 rand for African animals. There is a paid parking lot at the door. It seems to be 30 rand, but it's still quite interesting compared with the old "fossils" in the museum.
It's even more difficult to grasp when shooting active small animals. It takes a long time to catch a clear picture.
Look at it and cherish it.

Bird Paradise
#parksandgardens
Even on a Tuesday morning, Dad & I expected to see hordes of tourists swarming the Bird Paradise…but nope, it turned out otherwise! There were still several visitors, but more than enough room, and we kept hopping on & off the tram to the various enclosures (although they were all within walking distance 😂) cos’ there was ALWAYS one awaiting passengers at both tram stations when we passed by and NO queue at all 😆
Mere minutes were all it took to feed the African starlings as these birds swiftly dived in for their respective mealworm kills, but this up-close encounter was definitely the main highlight of my visit 😍 especially when we each enjoyed a photoworthy moment of a starling perch comfortably on our caps 🧢

🇸🇬 Exploring Fort Canning Park in Singapore
#parksandgardens #100waysoftravel
Fort Canning Park, set in the heart of Singapore, offers a serene yet historically rich haven amidst the city’s bustling urban environment. As a hilltop landmark, it has witnessed some of the most significant events in Singapore’s history, from ancient Malay royalty to British colonial rule, and now stands as a verdant oasis for both history buffs and nature lovers.
Upon visiting Fort Canning Park, you can follow the well-marked trails that meander through lush greenery and historical artifacts. One of the park’s highlights is the Spice Garden, a replica of the original 19th-century botanical garden by Sir Stamford Raffles. The garden hosts a variety of exotic spices that played a crucial role in the colonial spice trade.
Fort Canning is also home to several ancient artifacts and sites, such as the remnants of a 14th-century Javanese settlement, the historic Fort Gate, remnants of the fort walls, and a Gothic-style chapel. Each site is accompanied by plaques that explain their historical significance, enriching your visit with educational insights.
For those interested in the arts, Fort Canning Park frequently hosts concerts, theatre productions, and festivals in its outdoor spaces, particularly at the Fort Canning Green, where the natural amphitheater offers a unique outdoor performance venue.

It’s not just a park; it’s a gateway to exploring Singapore’s past and present in one beautiful location.

🇸🇬Yunnan Garden in NTU: A peaceful escape for students
#parksandgardens #100waysoftravel
Yunnan Garden, nestled within the expansive grounds of Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore, holds a special place in my heart as my favorite spot to unwind and rejuvenate during my student days. This beautifully landscaped garden, recently revitalized, continues to serve as a peaceful escape for students, faculty, and visitors alike.
The garden’s design is a thoughtful blend of natural beauty and scholarly tranquility, making it an ideal place for both relaxation and contemplation. Wandering through Yunnan Garden, I’m always struck by the serene ponds dotted with lotus flowers, the gently winding pathways, and the lush greenery that frames every view. The traditional Chinese architecture of the pavilions and bridges adds an element of timeless elegance, creating perfect nooks for reading, meditating, or simply enjoying the quiet away from the academic hustle.
What made Yunnan Garden particularly significant during my studies was its ability to instantly soothe the mind with its calm environment and the soft, melodious sounds of nature. It was not just a backdrop for leisurely walks or quick lunch breaks but a sanctuary where I could clear my head and find inspiration.
Returning to Yunnan Garden always feels like a homecoming. It is more than just a beautiful space; it’s a reminder of my formative years spent at NTU, filled with learning, growth, and moments of peace amidst the rigors of academic life. It remains a cherished place where the memories of my youth meet the tranquility of nature.

Hidden Garden in Marina CBD
#parksandgardens
If you're working around the CBD area, you'll surely just be surounded by buildings every work day. It can feel suffocating at times especially after a stressful day at work. Knowing and visiting pockets of garden or parks near your workplace might just alleviate a dreary day. It doesn't matter whether the place is man-made or natural justas long as you get your much needed pause. And I have noticed that in Singapore, there will always be places like this scattered everywhere, some might even be hidden.
Marina One Green Heart is a hidden public garden located at Marina One an is open 24/7. It is located at the middle of the towers of Marina One. There's a walking trail where you'll be surrounded by the varying plants. There are also lots of benches or seating areas. There are ponds at the ground level. Another feature is the 3-storey-high waterfalls that you'll also pass by when using the walking trail. The overall design of the building is very contemporary. The use of organic or curved shapes as edges of the levels and the materials or fininshes used are very modern. Standing at different levels of the building and at different sides offer different views. Since Marina One is an office and residential buildng, there are restaurants at the first few levels that the public can go to when feeling hungry.
My friend and I visited the garden on a saturday afternoon. There were not much people there. The place was so peaceful especially hearing cascading waterfalls, birds, and leaves rustling. We chanced upon a couple doing a photo shoot for their upcoming wedding and remembering how I thought that the photos will surely look good with the park as the location. There were also sprinkling of tourists taking photos around the garden. I also observed that people in the area are mindful of their behavior especially when it comes to noise since the garden is located in a residential place.
Marina One Green Heart is easily accessible via public and private transport. The nearest MRT stations are Shenton Way of brown line, Marina Bay of orange and red line, and Downtown station of blue line.

Royal Botanic Gardens
#parksandgardens I had an incredible day at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne. As soon as I stepped inside, I was captivated by the stunning landscapes that stretched out before me. The gardens are a perfect blend of native and exotic plants, creating a vibrant tapestry of colors and scents.
I wandered through the Indigenous Australian Garden, where I learned about the significance of various native plants. It was both educational and inspiring to connect with Australia’s rich natural heritage. The highlight for me was the Rose Garden, which was in full bloom. The sight of so many beautiful roses, each with its unique color and fragrance, was simply breathtaking.
Strolling along the paths, I found myself in Fern Gully, a peaceful area filled with lush greenery. The gentle sound of water flowing added to the tranquility, making it a perfect spot to pause and reflect.
I also spotted some lovely wildlife, including ducks and colorful birds, which made the experience even more special. After exploring, I settled by the lake, where I enjoyed a moment of peace, soaking in the beauty around me.
Must visit bird park in Singapore
#parksandgardens My visit to the Singapore Bird Paradise was an incredible experience! Nestled in the lush greenery of Jurong, this park is a true haven for bird lovers and nature enthusiasts alike.
As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by the vibrant colors and sounds of exotic birds. The park features a diverse range of species, from majestic parrots to graceful flamingos. I especially enjoyed the interactive feeding sessions, where I got up close with some of the beautiful birds.
The free-flying bird shows were a highlight—watching the birds soar through the air while showcasing their impressive skills was nothing short of magical. The park's immersive habitats, designed to mimic natural environments, added to the experience, making it feel like a true wildlife sanctuary.
I also took the time to explore the various exhibits, learning about conservation efforts and the importance of protecting these incredible creatures.

A nice park with a pavillion, Weolyeonggyo Bridge
#parksandgardens #100waysoftravel
During my visit to Andong I managed to visit this nice little park called Weolyeonggyo, which means the bridge with the reflections of moon. There is a folklore describing the beautiful story of a wife missing her dead husband, and the bridge is built after a pair of hemp shoes. There is a pavillion located in the middle of the bridge where visitors can enjoy the beautiful sceneries along the river. It is also a good time to visit at night especially when you can see the reflections of the moon along the river as seen from the pavillion. This is a nice place to relax at Andong City.
Enjoying the serendipity at Halla Aboretum near Jeju Airport
#parksandgardens #100waysoftravel
I had a 3 days 2 nights travel at Jeju and during my last day there, I visited the Halla Aboretum before heading back to Seoul, due to its close proximity from Jeju Airport. Entrance is free so this is definitely a good bargain, as you can see all the faunas there. What attracts me the most is the enchanting bamboo forest which leads to the healing forest, where there is a trail along the heavy bushes and trees, and there are nice benches for you to rest while breathing the nice and fresh air. There are also nice flowers like hydrangeas blooming, which you get to enjoy but the main theme here are the trees. It is a very nice park to visit before heading to the airport.

You can enjoy the nice sea breeze at the park, while having your lunch from the lunch box, and there is also a gallery for exhibition and also a coffee stand. This is a nice place for chilling especially for those working around that area.

Trip to Botanic Gardens 🇲🇾
We recently visited the Penang Botanic Gardens, and it was an incredible experience! Known for its lush greenery 🌱 and peaceful atmosphere, this garden is a must-visit for nature lovers and photographers 📸 alike.
We started our journey by exploring the cactus garden, where unique and rare species of cacti 🌵 create a surreal landscape for a perfect photo op. The Lily Pond, surrounded by vibrant tropical flowers 🌺 offered a picturesque scene that felt like stepping into a postcard. For anyone seeking a relaxing day outdoors, the Penang Botanic Gardens is a wonderful escape from the city’s hustle and bustle.
After strolling through the gardens, we discovered the Rainforest Walk—a tranquil trail that immerses you in the dense foliage of the jungle. The towering trees 🌳 and chirping birds 🐦 provide a great backdrop for nature photography. I would highly recommend trying the Canopy Walk, where you can take amazing aerial shots of the garden below while enjoying a bird’s-eye view of the park.
